“The Princess of Friendship, Without Any Friends”

Carousel Animation Meme/Trend! I have not posted in a while, oops. I kept seeing these beautiful animations on TikTok, so I made my own! The quotations in the title is what I'd consider my artistic title for this work, inspired by Twilight Sparkle and My Little Pony, but with my own characters. It's a little bit of a vent post, but by the end I was really loving the process of making it so I may have become something else entirely.

My tarot box piece, Tragedy, has been disassembled so that those who are interested in the graffiti artwork may purchase a side panel to display! The larger side panels are my favorites. There are 5 panels in total, 3 of the sides are 4ft x 30in, the top is ~30in x 30in, and the front is about 2ft x 30in. Don’t hesitate to DM to ask questions!

This spinning wheel piece that lights up is for sale! It spins, but always lands on Fate. I have to knock the price down from $150 because in transit after the exhibition, one of the plastic bulbs shattered. Luckily it is the one that you can’t see due to the wheel being in front of it, but it still broke nonetheless. The light still works!

My sculpture piece is available for purchase! The character has a box in front of him (with an essential oil diffuser inside so it may “smoke” out of the box with cotton candy scent) so that viewers may leave their three wishes for Milenko! The lock does have a key and the box has hinges so it is openable. This piece can be a little confusing based on just the image alone so feel free to ask questions.

Today and tomorrow I have the exhibition for my Honors Capstone project going on! It is inspired by Insane Clown Posse and I am so happy to share it with everyone in person and on this blog. So far there have been so many kind words said about my work! I think later I will link the Google Drive folder onto my website so anyone may view the in progress and final images of all the artwork!

My final for French (a course on the Caribbean!). This is a portrait of Jean-Robert Cadet, an author and activist for the restavecs in Haiti (he is a former restavec himself).
