Feeling a little dazed and down? Finding it hard to read the cards right - to read people right for that matter? When the chips are down and the miasma of the world is clouding your vision itâs always good to ask for help. Pls pls note I do not mean drink as a cure for depression because itâs definitely not - I literally mean talk to people in that case. However, for minor blues and to help settle yourself and see the truth, asking a goddess for help with a drink may do. So.
Vanilla Vodka - Perseverance, purity, peace and luck.
Orange Juice - Divination, protection and cleansing.
Lemon Juice - Cleansing and protection.
A whole Pomegranate - Offerings and Divination.
Edible Flowers (Optional) - Just look pretty, and Persephone would appreciate.
Prepare your Pomegranate - chop the very top and bottom off, score into 4 quarters then break apart with your thumbs gently to get to the seeds. Of course, you can also use a large pot for time but I love the taste and feeling of working with fresh Pomegranate (even with the resulting bloodied hands aha)
Pour nearly all the seeds into a blender, along with 50cl of the Vodka and Orange Juice, and 25cl of the lemon juice, and some ice.
Blend, and while it blends until smooth ask Persephone, in all her mercy, to help clear your vision, dispel your doubts and bolster your strength.
Strain into a martini glass and decorate with the remaining seeds (and flowers).
