I can totally do that.
Went to the gym this morning.
Now dancing around my room feeling like a sexy, badass motherfucker.
Exercise endorphins for the goddamn win.
Sorry I haven't been on much lately
Just in case any of you beautiful, wonderful, magical, stupenous followers were watching my movements closely and noticed I haven't logged on much.
I'm currently in the middle of a big dollop of assignments that uni has graced me with. And in a few weeks, it's exam time... YAY.
Not.
So I'll be a little absent until I've firmly secured my degree. And I'm trying my best to be good to my body, especially now that summer is on its way here in Australia.
Hope you're all doing awesome with whatever endeavours you're attempting!
I leave you with these tokens of my gratitude, for putting up with me :)
So, here's a depressing fact.
I haven't lost any weight since May.
In fact, I put on 5kg because I stopped exercising and watching what I ate.
For three months.
And now getting back on track is HARD.
Moral of the story - if you fall down, pick yourself back up before you stay there. Cause staying down for so long makes it FUCKING DIFFICULT to keep going.
That said, I'm doing my darndest to get myself right again :) GOTTA BE FIT FOR SUMMER. I WILL NOT SPEND ANOTHER DAY IN 40 DEGREE HEAT WEARING JEANS AND A LONG SLEEVE SHIRT TO HIDE THE FAT.
always relevant
Hey kids, are these acceptable snacks?
They're a little bag of Mrs. May's almond crunch. Ingredients: almonds (95%), rice malt, evaporated cane juice, sea salt.
Per serving: fat - 13g (1g saturated), protein 5g, carbohydrate -8g (5g sugars), dietary fibre - 3g, sodium - 37g
They taste so darn good that I feel guilty eating them. But should I feel guilty?
Had a blowout today. Not feeling good, no sir-ee. I'm craving anything that has NUTRIENTS. And I've been eating and exercising so well the last fortnight... *sigh*
Tomorrow is a new day. Back to the gym and back to good eating. I've now got multiple upcoming events that I need to be slimmer for.
GO GO GADGET SELF-CONTROL!
Which part of my body isn't currently suffering from DOMS? No part.
Tonight I'll be meeting some potential house mates.
SHIT IS ABOUT TO GET REAL.
Let's hope none of them realise the mistake they're making in considering living with me and my best friend.
It's funny, cause these are the kind of things I get:
1. Are you retarded?
2. Nice face, moron.
3. Get your ass out of my face.
4. Can you stop doing that?
5. Jesus, you're an idiot.
6. I can't see you tomorrow. I need a break.
7. You're going to be single forever.
8. STOP IT. IT'S SO GROSS.
9. You're so annoying.
10. Shut up and listen to me.
And I get them all from my best friend. Believe or not, best compliments ever. Because she knows me so well and puts up with it all :)
Do you have any before/after photos? And what sort of lifestyle/diet/regimen are you following? Congrats on the waist :)!
I do have before and after photos, but I'm not going to post them. I'd prefer to stay as anonymous as I can on this blog.
I was counting calories and such for a while (always eating more than 1200 a day), but now I've just gotten to the point where I eat when I'm hungry and don't deny myself anything, so long as it's healthy. I try to exercise for at least 30mins four days a week, sometimes cardio and sometimes strength training.
It's going slowly, but I find that I'm in no rush. I've got all my life to be healthy, so I might as well take the time to learn it properly.
And thanks very much for the message! :)
I don't know how it happened, but I'm getting a waist.
A WAIST, PEOPLE.
I haven't had that since way back before puberty... before I even had hips enough to SEE a waist.
I don't know what I'm doing right, but I hope to God that it doesn't stop.
