Rent Prologue (Group Fic) - OnPointe

A/N: I love Rent. It’s my favorite Movie and Musical. I had an idea and first it just started out with the song “Take me or Leave me” but it quickly expanded into me wanting to do a multi-chapter, Multi-ship basically a retelling of the story Rent but with Queens as Lesbians instead, because I’m good at lesbian things and angst. This will have a trigger warning for Drug Abuse, Death and obviously the talk about AIDs (although it’s never in detail) Of course, I’ll drop these in the tags of each chapter. I wish I could involve other ships but I only know how to write these 3. Anyway, I hope y'all like this idea.

♡ -  Sharon owns the agency. She had Aquaria in a very young age, and she never gave up on her dream of doing something big. She gave her best for graduating high school, and getting her degree to start a thing that in the future would be her legacy. ♡ - Almost everyone thinks Aquaria is just a spoiled rich girl and is only there because of her mom. The employers, Sharon’s business partners, the media, the other models… One of the only people who believe in her talent is Brianna - she can see her clearly as the camera seems to photograph Aqua perfectly. ♡ -  All the models are putted as rivals, it’s a rivalry the media and even own agency makes strategically to get even more money as they’re always working their hardest to be the best. They have a kind of ranking of popularity, and Aquaria and Alaska are in the same same spot - both fighting for being alone in the number one. ♡ - Sharon is know for dating a lot of models - who could blame her? Basically a good amount of girls have been in Sharon’s bed, but one in special called her attention and maybe won her heart. Sharon officially announces that Alaska and her are now a couple, and that makes Aquaria really pissed. ♡ - Vixen and Aquaria are the perfect couple in the media - as they say Vixen is the only thing that saves Aquaria’s career and makes her in the top. But Aquaria really wish she was with Brianna. But Vixen sorta like her, and it breaks her heart to see the girl she likes feeling stuck in their ‘’relationship’‘, seeing that as ‘‘work’‘. (the angst) ♡ -  Farrah is Courtney’s sister in the au. Courtney is a very famous model, and Farrah is used to go with her for photo-shoots etc. But her biggest dream is to become a model like her sister, and even if she has the talent and the beauty, she doesn’t have enough confidence and always fails on getting in. ♡ - Aja is one of the bookers who work there They fall for Farrah in the moment they sees her, and decides to use their influence to make her get in somehow. She eventually is hired by the agency, but she never knew Aja did it for her. And it wouldn’t be very pretty if she found out. ♡ - Adore is new, and shes different from all the other glam high fashion models. From her makeup to her style, everyone seems to dislike her and no one understands why is she here. According to Sharon they needed ‘‘some stuff people nowdays are into’‘, and as grunge is very trendy, she got in. that’s it by now eeeek thanks for asking <3 (also if any of you have any knowledge about modelling etc tell me bc I’m kinda highkey a dumbass)

Not to be like pushy or anything but could we have some headcanons about Farrah and Aja in the airline au? Only if you can without spoiling or something! I saw you weren’t feeling amazing, so like... obviously only if you’re feeling okay! 💕

hi sweetheart ! thank you so much for asking, i feel like i don’t really talk about those two much, but i do have some headcanons, so i really appreciate the opportunity ! here’s some random ones i could think of right now, under the cut.

• they met when farrah started working for northwest and during their training period, aja was responsible for teaching them how to use their rota system and how all of that shift related stuff works. she was walking into the conference room with a phone on her ear and a takeaway coffee in her hand, and she was just about to take a sip when she saw farrah for the first time, which resulted in hot coffee being spilled all over the front of aja’s blouse. she also cursed out loud while still looking at farrah, so aja’s first words to her were pretty much “FUCK… sis, ouch, ma, fuck, owwww.”

• after that unfortunate first meeting where no one learned anything about scheduling system because aja had burned herself and ruined her blouse, farrah spent a good while flirting with aja every opportunity she got, but aja wasn’t sure she’s actually even flirting with her, and was also apprehensive about the whole situation because she didn’t want to put farrah into the position where she felt forced to say yes to a date just because it was one of her bosses asking… eventually farrah got frustrated and asked aja out.

• by the time the fic takes place, i’m pretty sure they already live together, or at least farrah spends a lot of time at aja’s, so it’s virtually her place, too.

• aja actually dislikes that farrah is gone as much as she is, and would personally prefer if she got a job where she didn’t need to travel and be gone almost every week, but farrah has been dreaming about being a flight attendant ever since she was a little girl and she loves her job so much and it makes her happy, and aja would never ask farrah to give that up for her.

• i was planning sorta like sequel that would’ve been focused around farraja and their upcoming wedding. just like you know, a little glimpse into everyone’s life and how they’re doing after the events of the fic ! in it farrah was actually supposed to learn she’s being considered for a promotion, to be made a purser, and instead of taking the job she applies to be moved to the land team instead to be able to be with aja more. i doubt i’ll ever write it, but it was just an idea i had.
