FYI check what payment methods work when choosing a place to donate. I donated to the Lebanese Red Cross, but had to try several times to figure out what card worked. They don't take PayPal or Discover, and if they're the biggest aid group there, then I'm sure the others have similar restrictions. Check their payment options immediately after you check to make sure you can donate the proper currency as mentioned earlier in the post.
