This was so not on the agenda last year. Actually, it was this time last year that I said it out loud, right there, taking to someone special, that I hated my life. Clear, sincere and kinda popped my head out of the clouds just in the way it does when you are finally honest with yourself. Somewhere in the samsara of waking up and sitting at the edge of the bed and wishing the day was already done... Somewhere at my doing job because it was what I knew, and becoming more and more motivated by money and the chase of promotion... I was unhappy and found myself losing any notion of dreams and eventually found myself with a series of ultrasounds and visits to the neurologist - because somehow the stress really does deteriorate your body. So right there on a park bench, zoom in to the crying in public, I could feel myself say, "what on Earth are you doing?" So fast forward to the process of exiting my job, and having no plan other to embark on a soul journey to California and there running into the two most beautiful pilots, I remembered how much I used to want to be a flight attendant. And fast forward again, it was recently, I'm somewhere , probably lost, but undeniably enchanted, and said out loud how I love my life. I love every moment of my job, the new friends I get to meet, the places I get to see, and the strange new me I have become. There are still some rough days here and there, as is life, but my outlook has become more that you and I can rise to any occasion. So...wherever you are, you have an incredible amount of power over what happens next. This one is easy to say, difficult to see and do, but there is a spirit in you that will make you feel good, or make you feel uncomfortable per the situation, because it wants to see you thrive. Ok that was long. For my workouts I focus on getting stronger over time - less reps, more weight each workout. I follow the intermittent fasting diet (skip breakfast, have an 8-9 hr eating window) eating high and quality calories. Workout fasted - burning fat and spiking human growth hormone. I enjoy it because it allows you to still eat food you enjoy and I think it could be potentially adapted the rest of my life. :)
