Some time back I wrote a fic describing my headcanon that Nevarra University erects a statue of Emmrich post-Veilguard, and over time, the students develop a tradition of shaking its hand before going to class, eventually discoloring the bronze statue’s hand. Trying not to get overly excited but a Gackt fan account posted this on X, saying he’s recently done voice recordings in a studio that he hasn’t visited in over a decade. And it’s making me feel a little insane.

It could mean nothing, I mean the man probably has a million projects. But here’s hoping that it is a sign of Genesis 🙏

Also in the slim chance that it is Genesis related, I highly doubt it’s ever crisis because I’m assuming they’d get a different VA to do young Genesis the way they did with Sephiroth and Angeal. So… uh… part 3 then? (Please let me be delusional and hope)
