The 12th house

This is the part 1 💕

I feel like a lot of times this house is made difficult to understand while it’s actually one of the easiest one to get (imo) 🫶🏾

So I wanted to share with you guys a quick way to understand this house , but in order to do so , we have to start with the 6th house.

•The 6th house in brief 🤓

So the 6th house stands for a lot of things , it is mostly known for the house of health, pets, our everyday life , our relation with/ and the type of colleagues we have at our workplace.

It is the traditional house where Virgo sits and it is also ruled by Mercury.

Venus is debilitated there and Mercury is exalted.✨

( it is not at all a complete description ⚠️)

•Houses that opposite each other works hand in hand

I don’t know if it’s known or not , but it’s a method I’ve learnt from Vedic astrology and found that it also works in western astrology ( to interpret chart 🤷🏾‍♀️)

But anything you do in a house is going to have direct effect in its opposite house.

For instance, we know the 6th house is the house of health , if we do not take care of it, at some point we’ll have to visit the hospital (12th house). 6th house is the house of services , that’s where we are supposed to serve our society, ideally the way we serve society corresponds to our spiritual self/alignment, the reason behind our everyday actions (12th house).

That’s how each house are related in a zodiac.

• So what’s up with the 12th house ?

As I said previously, the 12th is our spiritual self , the fundamental reason we do what we do in our everyday life.

This is the house where we do things without expecting anything in return, unlike the 6th house in which we serve and we expect something in return : it can be that we expect material possessions, finding our true passion , recognition, fame , balance in our life.

⚠️ it is not « services » as working under someone or any type of submissive thing towards another human being, but how useful you are towards society. This is why the 12th house represents where you already know your role in society and hence have access to transcendance.

The 12th house is simply the house that describes your spiritual path, where you do things purely from your heart with compassion and where you don’t seek anything in return. This is why people with placements there have self sacrificing tendencies/behaviors. They enjoy to help ppl or be with ppl cause that’s what they truly like , they don’t have any hidden agenda there.

This is also the reason why Venus is exalted there in Pisces. Venus there is no longer attached to material things. Venus is free to share and show unconditional and universal pure love and compassion on a mass level to any loving creatures (6th house also stands for pets, taking care of any animals and things like gardening 👩‍🌾, etc..)

Venus here is free to do the things she truly like ( ex: investing 100% in some hobbies) and doesn’t expect any thing in return like money or recognition. Yet this placement actually makes the natives naturally attract people to what they do/make/create cause it comes from their spiritual self which is authentic.

Mercury being the trickster of the zodiac is always up to something. Naturally, it will be debilitated in the 12th house, as Mercury is always shape shifting, and is multifaceted. 12th house wants authenticity but Mercury is a playful trickster, a magician.

(⚠️ a debilitated planet doesn’t mean it doesn’t work or gives bad effects , lot of singers and musicians have a 12th house Mercury or a Mercury in Pisces - it is a wonderful placement actually - im just explaining why it is debilitated there - I’m not saying ppl with a 12th house Mercury aren’t genuine - I’m explaining the nature of the planet, and again why Mercury doesn’t feel at ease in the 12th house, this is a different thing. Someone with a 12th house Mercury could actually be talented in different types of singing style [rap, opera, trap, you understand what I mean 😭])

• 12th house - the karmic house

I also see a lot that the 12th house = karmic house and our past life. It is actually correct , but I feel like it is not enough said that the 12th house is also responsible for our karmic patterns that we brought into this concrete life as Habits (6th house is the house of habits 👌🏾🤓) + ( 12th house = karmic loop that we are asked to break/repeat till we understand lmaooo)

It means that any planet and sign that is in this house has some weight in the karmic lesson you have to learn in this life. It’s like your duty in your life.

See it like the 12th house is the house of the hidden, and nothing stays hidden forever ! 😳✨

☀️ Sun - you have a certain role to have and an identity to embody in your everyday life, it depends on the sign.

Ex : Aries sun 12th house ? You might be asked to embrace some sort of leader role, being a risk taker , a dynamic person. You most likely already possess these qualities, you just have to be more assertive.

🪐 Saturn - ( I’ll have a whole post soon about it cause Saturn in the 12th house is actually a gift in disguise)

With Saturn you are forced to embody the characteristics of the sign in which it is placed in the 12th house. Often, you will be forced to become like that for a huge group of people.

It is a bit similar to the sun, except that the second you refuse to endorse these characteristics or stray from it , life suddenly becomes tough and you could feel extremely lost as if life had lost any meaning for you 🥲.

Ex : Saturn in cancer 12th , you are stressed the hell out to become the characteristics of that sign. It is your karmic mission in this life. In cancer you might have to become some sort of nurturing figure to a huge group of people

=> Think About Angelina Jolie , Saturn 12th house cancer , she has adopted children and is also well known for being an advocate for children’s rights and life conditions :) ✨ - she also gave a great number of speech and lectures in some well known institutions and organizations about that matter ( Saturn = authority - cancer here = nurturing and protective side of the sign)

Moon - you have to learn how to express your vulnerable self , your emotional self and your nurturing side in your everyday life - you cannot keep that for yourself or you risk to create negative effect on your mental health 🙏. The sign in which is placed the moon will tell you how you have to communicate your emotional self

Hi, could you tell me the trick if I have Pisces Saturn in 11th house?

Saturn in any house is going to show where you have to put some hard work, perseverance and confront your fears!

So... I don't know the rest of your chart, but maybe you have issues to make friend, maybe your surroundings are not really supportive of you or that you don't have any long term vision for your future and you could also have a lack of faith in your life.

Whatever it is, you will have to display:

discipline

Work hard to overcome fears and challenge related to this house

arm yourself with perseverance

patience

That's for the 11th house matters. By using these qualities, you will increase/improve your gains in life and of course make connections with people.

Just a lil fun thing to know about your 11th house !

Your 11th house planets tell you what to use to be more relatable and hence make social connections ( 11th house = house of social network right). These placements can also be " what to use" to increase your gain :)

Yeaah Ik you want an example!

If you have Jupiter in the 11th house, use your experience/wisdom to make you relatable. You also have to know that you are lucky ( if nothing else shows otherwise in your chart) to make connections, it just seems to come to you without making any efforts

If you have Mars in the 11th house, take the lead! use your assertiveness and be blunt, weirdly ppl are going to connect with you that way.

reminder: venus is the planet that actually signifies and embodies who you’re attracted to. the lover you prefer. the lover you’re drawn to. so not just the 7th house per se is telling you that: the latter only shows the flavor of your dating life and how you relate to others in general, from friends to foes to flirts. say if it’s in aries: you relate to others in a direct and mars-influenced way, you easily antagonize haters, and you flirt in a straightforward manner. also know that the 7th house projects our suppressed qualities to others.

find your 7th house ruler. in a libra rising case, since your DSC falls into aries, mars has to be examined. even if the 7th house is empty, you can do a full interpretation that way.

if your 7th house doesn’t resonate at all, you might try calculating your sidereal chart. never a bad idea to dabble in vedic astrology, the charts are immensely accurate.

-this aspect tends to manifest as a person who is perhaps more shy, reserved or even conservative; this is because saturn is the planet of limitation, restriction etc while the ascendant represents a persons identity and how they come across to others

Understanding the rising signs | ☼ ☀ Easy way for beginners ☼ ☀ Part 2/ 2

I'm interrupting my series about the sign in the zodiac houses (in a nutshell lol) to talk to you about the risings' approach and kind of path in life, like what they are looking for. It's a very easy way to understand how it works for beginners!

/!\ I'm talking about each rising basic approach of their life; planets, aspects, degrees and decans definitely have a big impact on the chart! Just see it as a blank canvas on which the planets are going to add depth and directions :)

/!\ Also, I'm referring to how charts are traditionally ruled, but if you are a Taurus rising and have your 12th in Pisces it's totally normal ( using the Placidus system) and it will change everything as well!

☆Libra risings are looking for balance in their life ( ironically) with Libra in their first house their physical self but also their personality and attitude is "balanced" (they know how to act with ppl hence why they are often appreciated by ppl, physically they are said to be beautiful or easy on the eyes since their proportions are well balanced). They like to cooperate with people to get what they want and reach their goals ( it's not in a parasite/opportunist/ co-dependent way). Usually, Libra asc always knows the right person that could help them in this or that area (As Saturn is exalted in libra, these risings are like princes and princesses who just have to ask to get what they would like). With Virgo in the 12th, they know with who/how/where/ to invest their energy. The focus is on helping themselves to reach a balanced life (some of them tend to have a see-saw shaped chart).

☆Scorpio Rising are the lone wolves of the zodiac, they live for intensity and challenges, their life is all about transformation and power. Scorpio asc wanna see how far they can push themselves and when they face a limit, they transform, change, to go beyond it. With Libra in the 12th, they have a lot of imagination and they don't want to cooperate with people anymore, they want to challenge themselves and see how far they can go by themselves. Also, they want depth in anything they do/discover in life. Lastly, with Libra in the 12th house, they mysteriously tend to hypnotize people wherever they go and wherever they are. People just want to get to know them which is very interesting for Scorpio ascendants as they want to have an influence on people.

☆Sagittarius ascendant natives are the philosophers of the zodiac, they have a thirst to learn everything that could enlarge their vision of the world, from getting a higher education ( University etc...) to travel and meet new cultures, they just love to learn. They are often wild spirits, with great confidence, they usually feel good about themselves ( they are ruled by the planet of luck and optimism after all! ). If they ain't that wild then they are surely very educated and disciplined, even both at the same time sometimes. With Scorpio in their 12th house, they don't want to face challenges anymore and learn about the dark side of life, they rather have fun and discover the good side of the world.

☆Capricorn risings are ruled by Saturn, it's a karmic planet and also a strict one, depending on Saturn placement they could have some self-esteem/self-worth or ego issues ( not always the case ! ). They are generally the ones that achieve the biggest thing in life cause they have to prove to society that they can become someone, and generally when they achieve that thing they realize that it was worth it for their own growth but they didn't need to prove anything to anyone. That's how Capricorn risings set themselves free and just enjoy life for what it is. With sag in the 12th, they can be very pessimistic, strict and hard on themselves. It might feel like life is against you but let me tell you that it's not true, and all of your battles and hard work will be highly rewarded <3.

☆Aquariuuussss. They are the scientific of the zodiac, they are always in their own world and they try to decrypt anything and everything. That's why they might seem to be very detached. But actually, they have that strong sense of justice and they want to improve the world. Because Aquarius ascendant natives are ruled by Saturn or Uranus ( traditional or modern), they want to revolutionize and get rid of useless systems and structures that currently exist. For them, everyone should be treated the same and people should embrace their uniqueness and individuality! With Capricorn in the 12th, they really wanna get rid of old structure and hierarchy. They want to revolutionize and bring a major change somewhere. The area they want to change in life can be seen by Saturn or Uranus in their chart.

☆Pisces ascendant people are often underestimated I noticed ?! They are the dreamer of the zodiac. They generally have a dream, a goal they want to achieve in life, something that they absolutely want to make real. They're generally kind of wise and calm ( as they have nothing to prove to anyone). Because of Aquarius in the 12th, they want the world to be a better and safe place for everyone, however, they don't want some radical and drastic change that could make some people uncomfortable or scared ( one person or huge group) and due to that, they are willing to sacrifice themselves to make everything better and for no one to suffer. They are often seen as ppl that wouldn't hurt a fly but they actually value Aries characteristics a lot and even have Leo in their 6th house traditionally, they are just like water, might seem inoffensive at first but they actually have a lot of strength, personality and willpower ! ( what I meant is that water can be very calm and soft but that's the same water that is capable of tsunami :D)
