Hi all! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted on here! I’ve been working on a lot of fun things and one of those things is a new Pixel Art Class I will teaching through SVA’s Continuing Education.

If you ever wanted to create your own pixel art characters and don’t know where to start, join my class this semester! I’ll go over all the basics you need to delve into the pixel art world and help you create the characters and worlds YOU want to make for a future game or any reason at all! Access to Adobe Creative Cloud can be accessed after enrolling too!

Above is a character I created for the game I am working on which perfectly illustrates the goal of the class, creating an animated pixel character living in a pixel world.

Last of the three gen IV starters! Penguins unite! I also adjusted the cries for these three animations to better match gameboy sound. It’s probably not perfect, but was fun messing around! Happy Pokémon-ing everyone!

Shinx’s Diamond Dex Entry: All of its fur dazzles if danger is sensed. It flees while the foe is momentarily blinded.

Shinx’s Pearl Dex Entry: Its forelegs have a muscle-based system of generating electricity. Its body shines if endangered.

Luxio’s Diamond Dex Entry: Its claws loose electricity with enough amperage to cause fainting. They live in small groups.

Luxio’s Pearl Dex Entry: It rests its forelegs on others to communicate with rhythmic electric pulses from its claws.

Luxray’s Diamond Dex Entry: It has eyes that can see through anything. It spots and captures prey hiding behind objects.

Luxray’s Pearl Dex Entry: When its eyes gleam gold, it can spot hiding prey--even those taking shelter behind a wall.

Stunky’s Diamond Dex Entry: It protects itself by spraying a noxious fluid from its rear. The stench lingers for 24 hours.

Stunky’s Pearl Dex Entry: It sprays a nose-curling, stinky fluid from its rear to repel attackers.

Skuntank’s Diamond Dex Entry: It sprays a vile-smelling fluid from the tip of its tail to attack. Its range is over 160 feet.

Skuntank’s Pearl Dex Entry: It sprays a stinky fluid from its tail. The fluid smells worse the longer it is allowed to fester.

Buneary Diamond Dex Entry: It slams foes by sharply uncoiling its rolled ears. It stings enough to make a grown-up cry in pain.

Buneary Pearl Dex Entry: When it senses danger, it perks up its ears. On cold nights, it sleeps with its head tucked into its fur.

Lopunny Diamond Dex Entry: An extremely cautious Pokémon. It cloaks its body with its fluffy ear fur when it senses danger.

Lopunny Pearl Dex Entry: It is very conscious of its looks and never fails to groom its ears. It runs with sprightly jumps.

Mega Lopunny Ultra Sun Dex Entry: It swings its ears like whips and strikes its enemies with them. It has an intensely combative disposition.

Mega Lopunny Ultra Moon Dex Entry: Mega Evolution awakens its combative instincts. It has shed any fur that got in the way of its attacks.

Love these slugs!! Also will a shelled version pop in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?? I hope so after reading that dex entry!

Shellos Diamond Entry: Its colors and shapes differ from region to region. In the Sinnoh region, two types are confirmed.

Shellos Pearl Entry: It lives along bodies of water. Its body shape has changed to suit its habitat.

Gastrodon Diamond Entry: It has a pliable body without any bones. If any part of its body is torn off, it grows right back.

Gastrodon Pearl Entry: It apparently had a huge shell for protection in ancient times. It lives in shallow tidal pools.

Dusknoir DPdex entry: The antenna on its head captures radio waves from the world of spirits that command it to take people there.
