Michael Morbius cannonly runs a free clinic for the poor in NYC...so...lets say B's mom was...a waitress in a small diner down in that area, she lost her husband(b's father) and is raising him alone on a very slim income. B's like 2 years old, and became very ill, lets say Appendicitis. She rushes him to the clinic, the only place she can afford to take him thats closest to there area. Michael examines and diagnoses thd boy, and has to do emergency surgery to save his young life. Michael loves kids, you can see that in his comics aswell, he'd protect them with his life. So he refuses to lose the child on his table, and the only way to save him is an emergency blood transfusion, using his own blood(maybe they had matching types of which he was out of supply in bags?). Im sure michael explained to B's mother the risks and what would happen to her son if he gave him blood, and his mother was more concerned about him dying than him existing as a living vampire(im sure Michael had to be honest about that part-theres no hiding it). So he does the transfusion, B heals up faster than normal(perks of vampire blood), and his mother, just being grateful to still have her son alive, accepts the change and talks to Michael about being B's PCD. Michael may even look after B while his moms at work, who knows. But B became B Neg because Michael Morbius was a kind caring doctor who refused to lose a childs life no matter the cost. I see Michael being a sort of father figure to him, and making sure hes ok while his only living parent was at work. Fast forward to B age 16?...what would happen if...by this point his mom was gone for a couple years?...maybe he lost her in an accident?....he could possibly hang out at Morbs clinic and go to school at the Xavier Institute. Forgive my rambling but there could be a far deeper story to B- Negative. So i dont compare Morbius to B- or vice versa, i see them as two coexisting personalities who are almost family like. And a side thought, Michael wanted to be a father!...maybe this is his chance? 🤔
