Hey there, a friend of Justin's is self publishing a book using crowd funding PDX StartUp KickStarter. Another friend did the book's artwork. And Justin is the book's publicist. Got to love the Internet for making dreams accessible.

Mark From Earth is a story about a 13 year old boy who is recruited to the secret star/space academy from his home in Australia and his adventures in the galaxy. In this story line, the Milky Way is full of people, humans not aliens, and Earth is a "land time forgot" like discovering a lost jungle tribe isolated from the rest of society. It is akin to Harry Potter sans the magic. It also has the usual adolescent boy problems like making friends in a new school and crashing his dad's prize bi-plane into a swamp - normal stuff.

Naturally, John and I want to support these young men's artist talents and dreams, as well as, solid good and appropriate literature for boys, ages 10-18. So......

I am sharing the book with all my friends and asking them to please Pre Order a book via KickStarter so the guys can take the book on the road this summer to promote it. They are calling it the Interstellar Bestseller Bookmobile Tour. Oh to be young and unencumbered.
