So I just finished watching Corpse party and I’m very disappointed. People write everywhere that it’s the scariest and most brutal anime, that it’s terrifying, but it really isn’t, it’s actually slightly cute and have a beautiful and touching story. I don’t have problems with see blood, people suffer and insides splashed on walls, but really this was such a disappointment.

People speak highly of the game series the anime is based on. A big chunk of the fanbase also thinks that OVA is crap. Check out the games. They’re a lot of better with a more coherent plot, better character development, and they truly are scary, unlike the anime.

I've been thinking about try out the game since games in general are scarier since it's you who control the situation. Sadly enough I'm not one to play games, but I'll absolutely give it a shot since I wanna know also if the game really is scary enough for me.
