tumblr just deleted a huge swathe of palestinians who were on here trying to fundraise. if you've been helping any of these fundraisers please take this time to 1) check in with palestinians you're in contact with 2) help them submit support requests if needed 3) keep these campaigns circulating while the beneficiaries are being silenced. these campaigns are life or death, this isn't just social networking. do not let these fundraisers languish.

It has been 8 months and counting now, but every day I choose to be shocked and scandalized and rendered speechless by the utterly brutish, utterly horrific atrocities committed by Israel every single day. It should never become a new normal to know a whole country’s being genocided and to choose to distract ourselves w other things instead. It should never be standard to look at fundraisers of families suffering and choose to ignore them, to look the other way, to write them off as scams to alleviate any sort of guilt or gravity or moral implication that comes with ignoring these fundraisers. They should never ever be things we are okay with because it’s “just what Israel does now” “it’s just how people are” “it’s just racism.”

Asking you all to tap into whatever humanity you have and to donate and share Hani’s campaign. I have seen enough pictures of his sister’s beautiful baby children that I absolutely cannot process any other outcome for this family than a safe evacuation to a place where they can have shelter, food, and even a semblance of the life that will forever be stranded in Gaza. Every day there are bombardments and raids and more and more innocents dying. The idea that we can help at least family escape but choose to look the other way is unthinkable and inhumane. Please reblog end donate. Even 5 dollars would go such a long way.

Do you know if happilygeneralhideout is a scam? I'm suspicious because of the three word randomly generated name, pfp that looks similar to that of someone you did say was a scam, suspiciously low goal and no verification, but I couldn't find them on your list and their blog activity does look plausibly like that of a real person.

(Same anon that just asked about happilygeneralhideout) I take back what I said about them posting like a real person, they have a lot of reblogs about Palestine but all of them are timestamped exactly 19 hours ago
