So, I know this ask blog is basically a desert at this point, but I’m going to have to for sure call a hiatus here for now.
While I still may make art on the side every once in a while, (Trickster art not pertaining to replies can be found here @kasukaniy) I cannot set aside time for this blog for the foreseeable future.
Both parents retired from their previous jobs recently, my dad’s the only one making actual income, and he just tested Covid positive. My mom might be too. I’ve been searching for a job and once I get one, I’ll be too busy to allocate time to here. Maybe once all this settles down I’ll be able to gather the motive to bring this blog back to life.
Until then, thank you all very much for the asks and love, even if I never did much.

Dead By Drawtober Challenge by Ask-The-Dweets Day One: Blighted
Ahaha I got day one done after 15 days! ;-;
While this was super fun to do (I’m super happy with the flames and depth shading in the background) I’ve been pretty stressed irl, so who knows when another day will be done.
In the meantime, sorry for the lack of replies and thank you for being patient with me! I have a bunch sketched up I just need to motivate myself to finish them.
Every Survivor I have accounted for has experienced some form of denial upon arriving in the Entity's realm. The emotion manifests differently in each of them. Some Survivors are aggressive, many submissive, and others of a weaker resolve simply go mad only a few trials into their stay. No matter their initial reaction, those that last long enough to accept that their situation is in fact reality usually begin nurturing connections with the other victims they share the Realm with. It's amazing how resilient they are in their ability to not only accept that they are living a nightmare, but also to make the best of it all by socializing.
I’ve observed precious few exceptions to this pattern among the Survivors, but one such abnormality I’ve been particularly intrigued by is Yun-jin Lee. Lee’s memories first stood out to me because they included a wide variety of luxuries for me to manifest and enjoy: namely expensive liquor and music. I cannot call myself a particular fan of her genre as a whole, but the last few notable works I’ve extracted from hers and Ji-woon Hak’s memories—those with Ji-woon’s macabre input—have become favorites of mine.
The memories Lee has made during her time as a Survivor have maintained my interest. She refuses to accept her new role. While I know she’s communicated with a handful of her peers, I have yet to see her actually relate to any of them as a fellow survivor. She’s flighty with her attachments and regards most of them as business arrangements: exchanging her time for information to prolong her survival. Instead of spending her leisure periods outside of trials at the campfire or mingling, I’ve noted her poking around the larger Realm. Lee is searching for threads in the Entity’s greater tapestry to pull at and unravel, just as I myself am doing. She’s gotten so bold as to stray into the space designated for the Killers in her pursuit of means to thwart the Entity and escape. Lisa almost caught her once, when Yun-jin was making good on Baker’s advice and attempting to get her hands on a weapon more substantial than the knives she enjoys stealing away from the trials.
I believe that Lee will make a breakthrough one day. She refuses to accept that her time here is anything more than temporary— a test. She is a shark and she is searching for blood to initiate her hunt. However, I do not think that she is ready to discover what she inevitably will. Lee needs time and refuses to give it to herself. Based on her efforts thus far, it seems she is en route to uncovering some of Talbot’s experimentation. I cannot let that happen, not yet. There is too much left for her to learn about herself; she may not take adequate advantage of the only shot she gets at a revelation in her current, conflicted state.
I have never attempted what I am about to do. I should not be using these memories to meddle with the emotions of the Survivors from which they come, but as I’ve said: I will do anything to end the Entity’s reign of terror. It has yet to send a Killer directly to end me or my plans, but I assume it may try to soon. I need to hasten the rate at which Yun-jin Lee self-reflects so that she can continue to work as effectively as possible. While my family might object on a moral basis to my using manifestations to ensnare an innocent soul—or, souls—in the Entity’s web, I conclude that this is a special occasion. I am not planning to manifest people currently enjoying life in their Terra. No, I am manifesting a memory of the dead.
Out of frank desperation, I am manifesting ghosts due for an encore. I hope that this isn’t a waste of time or energy. It could be the next step to achieving our mutual ultimate goal, no matter how much of her composure must be sacrificed to reach it.

Normally he has good enough organization that little ever gets lost, but it happens.
He'd be elated! Everything he owns has some meaning to him, no matter the worth. He's the type to be caught up in emotion when a long lost possession is found, and will usually take time to remember the history of the item.
Sometimes, he falls into nostalgia so hard the whole day will pass him by.
