Fire in the Sky - Chapter 21
Based on the infamous line “…if it weren’t for the baby.” After a sleeping pill induced nightmare causes Katniss to act a bit more irrationally than she usually would, the course of her relationship with Peeta is irreversibly altered. What will happen when they find out they have to go back into the arena?

Today it's been exactly one year since I posted the first chapter of Fire in the Sky! And not only did I finally make it to the reaping since then (I know I'm slow, what can I say), but I've accumulated more readers than I ever thought possible! I look behind him but he's unchaperoned. Probably a bigger long shot than I am. I can't imagine what he wants but I hope someone would be friendly to my brother under these circumstances, so I say, "Hi, Ampert. I'm Haymitch. How old are you?"
"Twelve. You?"
"I turned sixteen yesterday."
"That stinks."
My lips move, but no sound comes out. "Buddy?" I stumble forward, spotting his tracker, wedged just below his elbow. There is no one to comfort, to ease out of this world. Ampert's been swallowed up by the Capitol, and his coffin will only hold these pearly white bones.
A cannon fires.
Somewhere, Beetee's heart breaks into fragments so small it can never be repaired.

Please consider reblogging this/other positivity posts for schizophrenic/psychotic people every once in a while. If you have more than 100 followers, odds are that a couple of them experiences psychosis and that they rarely see positivity posts for people with their symptoms.
