As the seasons are changing, could I possibly request a moodboard for Thallo, the goddess of spring and new growth?
Thank you in advance!
Thallo
🦪 :: — "Iridescent-throned Aphrodite, deathless Child of Zeus, wile-weaver, I now implore you, [...] come to me once more, and abate my torment; take the bitter care from my mind, and give me all I long for; Lady, in all my battles fight as my comrade."
— Hymn to Aphrodite by Sappho.

Hermes Eriounes (luck-bringing)
I’ve always had a soft spot for the idea of gods appearing as children. There’s something so sweet and endearing about it. Baby Hermes, small, clever, and mischievous from the moment he is born. Hera Pais, honored as an unmarried girl, an early spring bud just beginning to loosen its petals. And the Kretan boy-Zeus, worshipped not as the lightning wielding king but as a divine child.
There’s something beautiful about power and innocence existing side by side like that.
Hermes Kourotrophos
“The Protector of Youth.” An epithet for Hermes Kourotrophos, from kouros (youth; young man) and trepho (to care for; to nurture). Guardian and guide of children, safeguarding and nurturing them as they grow from infancy to adulthood.
Idk why, but Hermes is starting to feel like a bird that brings shiny stuff to my door. I don't know what I did to deserve it, it's nice but I don't know why it happens to me spesifically.
I feel like a lot of people flatten Hermes into one domain as if he is not a god of so many things.
Yes he is a trickster and god of thieves but also of commerce and safe travels and language and communication and he is a guide both during mortal life and in the afterlife and much more I'm sure I'm forgetting.
I think you could easily argue that he is one of the most, I suppose, present gods in everyday mortal life.
Spent some time this morning preparing an offering in thanks as I asked Hermes, Apollon, and Athena to help me with writing an essay I had due. It's been a long time since I've done that - with food offerings at least - and I forgot how nice it is.
Mercury leaving retrograde on the same day as the Spring Equinox feels a lot like Hermes returning as an escort for Persephone’s return from the Underworld and idk that just makes me really happy
hermes won the poll!! so!! here is my current altar:
it has
-chargers and outlets bc he is a god of communication
-malachite bc I dedicated it to him
-money as a god of currency
-and an earring, to represent a son of Zeus! (i think it's silver but tbh it might be nickel or smth)
A very simple altar but I like it :)
Praying to Zeus, Hekate, Hermes, and Hestia for me, my husband, and our cat to find a home and, until then, for solace from the cold and hunger ♥️
Devotional post to Lord Hermes 💚🗺️
