The economy here in SĆ£o Paulo (Brazil, that as a whole is a mess rn) partially reopened (with reduced store hours) so I naively thought we would be okay and dad would start selling again so I stopped reblogging my posts asking for help on my blog. But it turns out I was stupid. One whole week I didnāt reblog any posts asking for help bc I thought weād get buy but I overheard my dad talking with my mum about our bills and I realised:
The stores may be open (for a few hours) but dad is still not selling chocolate bc no one is buying. The store owners see that few people actually go to the stores to buy (also chocolate is not the priority rn, itās masks, hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies ya know) so they donāt buy from my dad. They are still stocked pretty good bc if people buy chocolate itās not the same amount of people as before and not the same quantity.
My dad sells this big bars of chocolate (I think they are like 2kg to 5kg each) [he sells to people who get this chocolate, melt it and transform it into something else or to large stores so people can buy and do just that) or very big packs of chocolate coins (easier to melt).
