I’m not usually like this. But this acting deserves all the awards.
kinda torn between the headcanon that Loki’s world was shattered, he saw and mourned the love he could’ve had, he saw how easily Thanos killed him and how powerful the TVA are, after having been walked all over and made insecure for hours, and cracked and honestly spilled… or the headcanon that Loki saw how powerful the TVA are compared to the infinity stones, asked if it was the greatest power in the universe, and was like “well, I guess that settles it then, I shall rule this and/or destroy this, and pursue future goals without oversight” and in fact bluffed his way through the “I don’t enjoy hurting people” scene, knowing exactly what the guy wanted to hear and being a master of lying. like, I want to believe them both somehow, like how all the best lies have a grain of truth in them, y'know?
To me, I think it is a bit of both at the same time. If Loki is anything, then he is fast to adapt.
Of course, his world was shattered. He was pushed with so many different life-shattering experiences at the same time. Within all of that how powerful the TVA is, is just something that wasn’t even imaginable before. This is just something he never ever thought possible. It’s the definition of not comprehendible.
Then though, Loki will adapt. He’ll learn the new rules, he’ll learn how this power works and how to play this situation to his advantage.
I didn’t need all these feelings, but here we are...
