you know that rollercoaster tycoon post about someone (paraphrased) “sending rollercoaster crashes flying into rival parks to lower their rating” that got a lot of initial attention despite being obviously flagrant bullshit to anyone with a working memory of rollercoaster tycoon so nowadays you mostly see the corrected version going around.

every week i see neopets equivalents of that post going around and only 30% of the time does it have any correction.

trans twitter has gotten pretty bad recently...it just seems like there are a lot of people who've entered through a pathway that is divorced from the rest of the lgbt community and have all these viewpoints that are incompatible with the progress we all fought for without them lol. like they seem to genuinely believe in gender roles and traditional standards for appearances and they accuse everyone who doesn't conform strictly of being cis, even if they're taking hormones sometimes. i feel like they're primarily just misogynistic and homophobic tho, it reads like the run of the mill hatred you see anywhere towards afab people and feminine gay men.

right now the biggest enemies on there are this podcast of nonbinary people who they are accusing of actually being cis women even though at least one of them is obviously on hrt, who have some meh takes sprinkled into these long, polite, nuanced conversations where they talk to all different kinds of lgbt people. and they're like zooming in on their faces to analyze their microexpressions and body language, and accusing them of secretly despising any trans women they talk to whenever they scratch their ear or fix their glasses. i dont think this should be done to people

other current enemies are amab nonbinary people or trans men who wear women's clothes, dye their hair and have facial/body hair. and also anyone who says afab or amab which idk how youre supposed to talk about anything if you can't use those concepts. i think they dont want anyone to be able to talk about anything
