lost in the sauce thinking about S3 Fexi like…. it’s morning, we get a slow moving shot from above Fez’s bed, starting at the foot and moving upwards, Fez and Lexi laying there. [maybe over the covers, maybe her in his tshirt] They’re close, facing each other, but not quite touching. 🎶 Love is Complicated (The Angels Sing) plays 🎶.

Fez’s eyes are already open. Lexi’s still asleep, morning light shining on her hair. Rue’s voiceover: “Fez had never had a girl spend the night before. And he thought it was kinda wild that the first time was with Lexi. He’d only seen that shit in movies. Waking up all easy and gentle and shit.”

Flashback to a static shot of Fez on the couch in his living room. The couch stays still but we see Fez at varying ages, in the same spot, always staring straight forward. Light from the TV plays on his face. 🎶 let’s make this movie a masterpiece 🎶 Rue’s v/o cont’d: “And, truthfully, he’d always felt like his life was a little like a movie. Violent. With some unexpected twists. The occasional explosion. But this…”

Back to Fez in bed. He moves his thumb across Lexi’s cheek. “… he’d never been in this kind of movie before.” Lexi’s eyes open and she smiles, cuddling closer. Back to the shot from above, they’re holding each other closely now. “He found himself thinking this wasn’t, like, his genre. That he didn’t belong here. But also that he’d do damn near anything to stay.” 🎶 oh darling, love me this way, ‘til my feet take me to the grave🎶
