im so curious abt peoples like, silly off the wall headcanons abt murderbot stuff. like just some headcanon that has absolutely no basis for exisiting you just one day had a brain worm and thought it was neat.

ill go first. i like to think that earth still exists in the mb universe and is thriving. (millions of light years away) in my head mb lives in corpo hell bc all the billionaires from earth launched themselves into space and now earth is free from elon musk types and can live happily. unforch they had to go somewhere and thats the hell mb and friends live in.

Coming back months later but this headcanon was inspired by the book How High We Go in the Dark by Sequoia Nagamatsu, wont spoil why if anyone reads it but know that book made my brain itch

in which murderbot is a very normal terracotta soldier and ART the dragon spirit of a chinese junk who dwells in the ship's keel. they meet in the ming dynasty perhaps, when ppl are sailing places extra willy-nilly.

i procrastinated on this one for soooo long because BIG. i am not going to be editing them together to make them fit nicely like i did for the others i'm just going to post them in like 4 parts or so. i ended up skipping a few borderline moments where it's mentioning it would prefer hurting itself than doing x [listening in on relationship convo, getting regoverned etc]. i'm pretty inconsistent on whether to count mentions vs only actual touches but whatever okay i am ready to move on to more bite sized books okay. done is better than perfect. if i missed something you can add it on in a reblog for me :) ~
