They've been building up to her being No. 8 and I'm trying to figure out why all those glass yorishiro shards appear during hananene moments. And I mean there's no way they just added those shards for aesthetic purposes. And this seems like the most natural answer I could think of

But if she's the one who rips it off and caused the shards, would that mean she'd relive all those moments they shared together? The ones we see with the shards? That's too angsty so I don't like this theory.

I noticed that Hanako enjoyed the fake world more than the other characters to the point that he fought the others to make sure it stayed intact. But why did he hold a fake world in such high regard?
