I hate when im spelling something and im not sure if its right but my phone's autocorrect thing is just looking at me like im crazy

Then I type what I have into google and apparently it was, in fact, a word *and* I was spelling it perfectly

I had written enuncia and the only word my phone was letting that auto fill to was denunciation. Not enunciate. Which is much closer if you couldn't tell.

Dude naming male characters pisses me off bc I hate using names of people I know but they took all the good names.

My brother's name is Alexander. Alexander is the perfect guy name! Why?

- has roots in multiple cultures, so can often fit in tons of settings

- has so many variations/nicknames (Alexandru, Alexandre, Alex, Lex, Ander, Xander, Alec + feminine variants like Alexandria, Alexandra, Alexa, Ria if you push it)

- can be used in both a fantasy and realistic setting (you wouldn't bat an eye at Alexander The Innkeeper *or* Alexander who works in IT)

but I cant bring myself to use it or any of the variations bc it just makes me think of my brother and now writing the character feels *weird* bc thats not My Character anymore, its just Alex.

Babysitting a toddler is a lot like being the narration in a point-and-click adventure game. Watching him knock on the doors of empty rooms and saying "hmm. I don't think anyone's in there". Watching him attempt to use [spoon] on [cat] and saying "I don't think those things go together". Watching him throw a cup of water onto the floor and just commenting "the floor is wet now" when he looks up at me to see if I approve.

I'm seeing warnings about scammers trying to commission artists but the "reference sheet" for their character they want commissioned isn't an image but a .vbs file ("visual basic script"), and will run a script when you open it, probably to yoink your account(s), but I haven't seen this from anyone who's actually clicked it yet. Just be careful and never open a file like that, 'cause people suck.
