Because everybody forgets that, oh dear, Resident Evil DID have some amazing and strong female protagonists, I created this little photoset. Quotes on the photos are from the respective characters. Jill and Rebecca have had some of my favorite, and I was tied as to what to put for them. Likewise, that’s why Jill has 3.

I highly recommend you play Resident Evil 1, 2, 3, 0, and 5 (not my favorite of the series, but play it and ignore critics) if you want strong females who take no shit. Jill and Claire escaped Raccoon City. Jill took down Nemesis by herself. Rebecca put Billy in his place numerous times, and proved she could survive with or without him. Sheva helped save an entire continent. If that isn’t positive female portrayal, I don’t know what is.
