THE BLUE SKY WEB COMIC IS FINISHED.
Yes, you read that right. I have completed the last panel of the last chapter. And yes… I did cry. This project has taken almost 5 whole years and I’m still beside myself that it’s finished. This is the longest most extensive personal project I have ever worked on in my entire life. But I enjoyed every second of it :) You can all thank the global pandemic for giving me extra time to finish it earlier than estimated.
But for you guys, we are only two thirds of the way through the story. And if you don’t believe me, check this out:
This is every single panel of the Blue Sky web comic in one image. It came down to around 930ish panels. Of course I’m not about to spoil you all, so the remainder of the story has been blurred more.
So as formerly promised, I will begin posting more panels each week. Probably around 3 to 6 ish a post depending on how things flow. And I will continue to post twice a week, Sundays at 1:00pm central standard time. And Wednesdays at the same time. If my calculations are correct, we should reach the end by early Spring of next year.
I may pen a more emotional epithet in the future about how much this story and project has meant to me but I’ll wait until the very end to do that. Thanks again for following everyone! I couldn’t have finished such a huge project without you all. Your comments and messages mean so much to me and I love you all. Cheers! - Elvy
“Cave Johnson here! They say that comedy is an art, not a science. But at Aperture Science, we say, “why can’t it be both?” So I got the bean counters to scientifically find the most objectively hilarious thing in existence: the dill pickle! And I couldn’t agree more. Funny shape, funny taste, funny smell… Even then word “pickle” is funny! Pickle, pickle, pickle! I don’t even like pickles and I’m smiling!“
"So for this next test, we are going to make you the funniest being in existence by transferring your consciousness into a pickle. Now, I know compared to all of our other endeavors here at Aperture, this may sound dangerous, pointless, and incredibly stupid, but trust me: the payoff will be huge.”
"Oh, one more thing I should mention: during the previous two tests, both subjects just ended up with all their bodily fluids replaced with pickle brine. But hey- comedy comes in threes!“
life gives me lemons.
life: rued.
lemons: combustible.
house: aflame.
i am forcibly escorted from aperture science.
Fun fact: Cave didn’t hate Black Mesa for any corporate reasons. He actually hated them because that bitch Wallace ripped off his look and he’s demanding reparations.
(A meme in China, dialogue taken from TV series.)
I have a civics paper to do, and here I am drawing this.
Deleted scene where Cave Johnson goes on a rant about 'cancel culture' after getting sued for firing that one guy for being in a wheelchair.

(( Realized I never posted this. Silly comic inspired by @maycontainneurotoxin and I’s Facilityswap AU wherein Doug & Gordon switch places and end up working for Black Mesa and Aperture, respectively. Seems Gordon and Caroline have proven to be rather chummy with one another. Cave doesn’t seem to share Henry’s sentiments about their friendship … ))
Cave: It’s quick, it’s easy, it costs twenty bucks: pouring river water in your socks!
Greg: Why would anyone want to do that?
Cave: Because, Greg: it’s quick, it’s easy, and it costs twenty bucks.
Oh! Oh! I hope you check this one! I had an idea one day that Chell could see some ‘lab ghosts’ because she kept the portal gun. It warped time and space, so things went a bit wrong. And now Chell is haunted. There is also an easter egg. Could you find it?
Just accidentally referred to the portraits of Cave Johnson as “Cave Paintings”
