the most gut-wrenching thing someone could write in a thiam fanfic is refer to Theo's heart as "Tara's", just like that, when you don't even see it coming, like "The way Liam is looking at him makes Tara's heart ache." LIKE STOP I CAN'T😭

I like that we see the difference between Theo and Liam there.

Liam : his shift is violent, his growl long.It takes him time to get control of the shift, and he spends seconds just there, not moving. It’s like the shift takes over him.

Theo : Is able to bring the shift while still thinking, like switching a light on. Efficient. Looks like he is still able to plan, and think. He attacks quickly. 

It’s the difference between a beta and a well-trained chimera.
