Ladies and Gentlemen; Grant ‘Shirtless’ Ward
Grant Ward + that sinister face
parker
“Wouldn’t lie to me? Ever, swear on our friendship?” It was so easy to tease him, almost making a game out of it whenever she saw him. But it was all in good fun, as most everything was when it came to Parker. “Oh, no. No, no, no; you can’t take it back now. It’s out in the open, my heart has already been touched by your kind words.” She released a light laugh, lifting her brows as he did his, “Big Friendly Giant, of course. Aw, do you want a nickname not involving your size?”
“I swear on Inked that I would never lie to you. How about that?” It probably would’ve been better to swear on a friendship to make it actually feel like one, but he, of course, didn’t want to do that. “That literally makes my skin crawl. Kind words? Your heart has been touched? Just get me in the jugular, why don’t you? That’d be less painful.” A snort came from him at her explanation. “Big Friendly Giant? Really? Friendly? Please come up with something that doesn’t involve my size. That would be great.”

“Listen, man… I have a lot of my mind and it hasn’t necessarily been about food.” Who was he to have to explain to this man? He knew who he was, what he was about. Truthfully, he was just scared to keep his mouth shut. “So, this is my first real meal in about three days. I’d like to eat it without having people threatening to take it.”
“I imagine. Being in a MC must be really hard work for you.” Perseus didn’t mean to be so...himself, but he couldn’t control his mouth sometimes. Maybe he should’ve strove to be nicer to people. But then he wouldn’t have any fun. “Nobody is threatening to take your meal, man. I was just grabbing my fork from the floor.”
baja
“Absolute bullshit, huh?” Lifting her brows, she grinned at the man. She couldn’t help but shake her head with a quiet laugh. Of course, he would think such a thing. “What I say goes, Cassadine. I make the rules here.” She mused, her blue hues never leaving him. Once leaned over the counter, she mimicked the position across from him. “Hey now, don’t hate on Pers. It’s way better than Percy Jackson. I’m not calling you some lightning thief.” Without realizing her movements, Baja began to trace the tattoos on his hand. It took mere seconds before she clued into her actions and pulled herself back with a bright smile. “I’m sure I can think of something way better than Percy Jackson. Give me like, ten minutes.”
“Yes, absolute bullshit,” he repeated right after she did. His eyes squinted as he looked at her. “I suppose you’re not wrong there. You do own this place. So what are you gonna do now? Kick me out?” A grin reached his lips when she leaned forward on the counter, mimicking him. “Of course it’s way better than Percy Jackson. Like you said, I’m not a fucking lightning thief. Can you go tell Kace Slade that? I feel like he wants me to punch him.” Perseus was quick to notice the feather-like touch on his hand which caused him to look down. He didn’t exactly lift her finger off of it though. She had done it on her own after all. Not that he particularly minded in the slightest. “Ten whole minutes? Come on, you gotta think on your toes here. I’ll give you five minutes to think of a good one. I think you can do it.”

It might have only been just her luck that her boss be the one to wander around the corner at such a time, little did she care however – freedom of creativity, and perhaps the illegality of it didn’t cross her mind either, or his opinion on it in the first place. “We could get you a badge, I think I could even spring for an entire uniform if you really wanted — that’s my only condition if you wanna’ see the cuffs, Bossman.” She rolled her eyes as he cast hues to her, “Any boy in blue worth his salt will always look at you before they look at me so..– maybe you should stick around while I tag up.” Her voice changed into some mock impression of a high school kid doing much the same. – she didn’t tag, what she put onto the walls of the city were just as well thought out as the pieces she put onto her clients skin. “Not all hero’s wear capes, huh?”
"Yeah, I'll pass on the uniform. I don't need you having that kinda blackmail over me." He looked down at himself and shrugged. "I guess you're right. Whatever, I'll stick around. I'm interested to see what you're gonna do with this wall." Hero? He couldn't possibly tell if that was sarcasm or not, but that was the last word he'd ever use to describe himself. He was barely even a decent sibling. "Yeah, yeah. Just do your thing. I don't wanna stand here all day."

“Listen, if you touch your god damn fork to my god damn plate, I’ll cut your fingers off.” He threatened, but there was a lightness to his tone. “Don’t touch my bacon, don’t touch my eggs.”
Perseus’ eyebrows furrowed at the accusation. Sure, they were right near each other, but he had only been reaching down to grab his dropped fork. These tables were far too close together sometimes. “I wasn’t even going for your damn bacon. Or your eggs. Relax, man.” He turned back towards his table. “Fuck, when’s the last time you ate a meal? You sound like this is all you’ve got.”
parker
“Are you lying about lying right now?” She teased before leaning forward, crossing her arms on the table before planting her chin on top of them. “Aw, would you miss our friendship if my head exploded? Are you trying to be nice and say you’d be sad?” She eyed him from across the table, gentle smirk on her lips as she teased him further. “That’s why I’m gonna hang around you all day, so that you can tell them exactly what happened to me prior to the explosion. Hope you’re observant, BFG.”
“No...I am not lying about lying right now. Because I wouldn’t lie to you. Stop putting me on the spot like this.” He shook his head as she leaned forward. Oh, he should’ve known this was where this was going to go. He should’ve never said what he said. She would hold it over his head, he knew she would. “If I was trying to say that, I am no longer saying it at all.” He leaned forward slightly, eyebrow raised. “What exactly does BFG stand for? I swear you’re always coming up with something new to call me regarding my size.”
baja
Baja tried to keep her smirk at bay once she saw the man enter her store. Her voice was serious as she spoke, trying not to let on that she was joking. “Didn’t you know? You’re banned from the store.” Crossing her arms over her chest, she knew it would only be so much time before she broke down. Shaking her head, a quiet laugh escaped her. “Kidding… I’m sure I can make an acceptation for you, Pers.”
“You know what I think about that?” He tilted his head to give her a second to answer before he answered the question himself. “Absolute bullshit.” He walked further into the store, heading over to the counter she was at. Perseus leaned his hands onto the table top, his tattooed fingers drumming against it. “Oh, thank you so much. I’ve also really gotta think about a name change in the future. These nicknames you all make up for me are...the worst. Then again, at least you’re not calling me Percy Jackson.” And before she could even say anything, he squinted his eyes, a chuckle leaving his mouth. “Actually, I probably shouldn’t have told you that. I feel like you’d start calling me that now.”
theia
The bar was dead. More than dead actually, it was a graveyard with one soul roaming; her. She was bored and cleaning glassware, humming quietly to herself. Truthfully, Theia wanted the day to be over so she could curl up in her bed, with her dog, and just watch some shitty reality T.V. Sadly, she was the very late, meaning second-last to go. With a sigh, she turned on her heel to put the glass away before seeing the person sitting there.
“Just be thankful I didn’t break out in dance.”
Perseus had decided to go and visit Theia. The number of people he liked were few and far between. However, he would never hate his cousin. She could probably push him down a cliff and he’d still have her back no matter what. So why wouldn’t he visit her at the bar? It was a complete desolate wasteland, that’s why. He guessed that was good for him though. He would prefer being around less people. As he sat down not too far from where she was standing, he leaned forward on the bar just as she turned around to acknowledge him. “Please, if you broke out in dance, I would’ve started filming immediately. That’s great payback for making fun of my neutral face of displeasure all the time.”
cora
Working in a liquor store, Cora saw a lot of things she wished she could forget about. The most annoying had to be teenagers who were trying to buy alcohol, acting like she could tell the difference. “Listen you little shit, you’re not twenty-one. Do I look like I’m missing a few brain cells? Get a better fake ID. Now get out of here.” She watched as the kid walked out before turning her attention to the next person in line. “ID please.”
Perseus almost laughed at the scene in front of him. Man, he remembered being that young. It was pretty funny seeing it unfold. But, as soon as it started, it was over. The kid was heading out the door and he was next in line with two bottles of Jack Daniels in his hands. "Fuck, that kid’s gonna probably just get some old dude to buy his liquor for him. There’s a homeless dude right outside so watch out for that.” He pulled his ID out of the wallet on the chain hanging off of his jeans. “Here. You usually this fucking aggressive with these kids?”
riley
A dramatic gasp sounds from Riley, her heart clutching her chest in mock horror at Perseus’ statement. “What?! No! Never! The only reason I keep working here is for the constant compliments.” Which is far from the truth, but she can admit being the only chick at Inked came with it perks. “As attractive as you are, not even you could pull off a bowtie and hipster glasses. That, I’ll have to admit.” The image that suddenly popped into her head makes Riley let out a laugh. “Hmmm…not too sure either, so I’ll stick with the one I got.” A warm smile then graces her full lips, a sign that she means every word even with their joking banter. Since her move, Perseus’ had been more than welcoming and accommodating. Which would probably explain why she doesn’t at all think her current seating situation is weird. Professional boundaries were tossed to the side not too long after she began work, not that she had a problem with it. “That.” Riley begins, referring to the sketch. “Is going to go across his shoulders. Planning to add more skulls and then doing an intricate tattoo along his spinal card. It’s definitely going to take a couple session. The plan is to get the line work done over the next couple days, then we’ll work on the shading and adding color after that.” She explains, face lighting up as she describes the tattoo in great detail.
He shook his head at her dramatics. Perseus probably would’ve laughed, but he only let a small smile reach his face. “I’ll just remind myself then. You tell JP to give you compliments. I suffer enough just from your Instagram.” Which she damn well knew already. He was still upset that she took the time out to tag hi in certain pictures. Well, he was more frustrated than anything else actually. “Oh, thanks. I’m glad you agree. I could maybe pull off the glasses, but adding a bowtie to it is just...wrong. I bet Ares would do that shit.” His little brother acted more like an older brother sometimes and had way better fashion sense than he did. Perseus was sure the guy could pull off the hipster glasses and bowtie look with ease. “Also don’t think I didn’t notice that compliment.” His finger wagged in her direction, a large smile lifting onto his lips this time. “And don’t ever let it change. I gotta be the favorite Cassadine to somebody. Not just because I’m your boss. Right?” He looked back down at the sketch as she started to explain everything in detail. It sounded like it was going to be a great tattoo. He’d have to remember to request something from her at some point, too. If she could even find a spot on his body to get to. “Well, I’ve got no doubt it’s gonna look good. I think the only person I’ve got coming in for a tattoo is some damn Looney Tunes loving motherfucker. He wants a big ass Bugs Bunny on his forearm. Which I just will not say no to. Because he’ll come in asking for a cover up one day and I’ll get to laugh in his face and say ‘No.’”
