I hate when people say “must be nice”. Because when I was pulling the late nights & early mornings on a Friday in college and grad school - running a business, coaching full time and studying while you partied, I didn’t hear “must be nice”. When I was chasing a dream no one else saw & got ridiculed and doubted, I didn’t hear “must be nice”. When I devoted every fiber of my being to the things that mattered to be to build the life I want to live, I didn’t hear “must be nice.” “Must be nice to get paid to workout.” “Must be nice to be able to have all that ‘free time’ to spend at the gym.” The list goes on.
