acenico picnic date. cute right...yes, but

ace dresses up way too formal for this occasion and then upon seeing this nico spends a good few minutes mentally fretting because they are not as dressed up and now they are wondering if there was a dress code in place for some reason that they didn't know also for some reason.

they both spend way longer than nessicary trying to pick a spot to sit and because they probably just went to like. a park or something. they are taking so much time doing laps around this park trying to a spot that they won't argue about that also is picnic date-y enough, whatever that means. they probably both have a different idea for what that means.

Pollen is probably also killing them both but they've made it this far they Have to see this through. hot as fuck outside too they are sweating. they finally would probably settle for a spot in the shade that's out of view for the most part aww cute cutes

it is kind of miserable conditions for eating food and Bugs are here to join their date and ace suddenly remembers those ticks that bite you and like Kill you or whatever that story was and his legs are staying on the towel/blanket the whole time from then on out

"are you allergic to x?" "i don't know" "are you allergic to y?" "I don't know" "are you allergic to z?" "i don't know" for a good few minutes

other people are probably looking at them a little funny because their natural flow of conversation is aggressive banter cut up between genuine casual conversations so it just looks like these guys are fighting and then suddenly not over and over #autism.

.. despite all of This they have a very wonderful time honestly. they part ways very stupidly giddy over this

I had so much Trouble getting out of bed today. I tried to sit up but my body would Not listen to me and when I finally managed to get somewhere in the Struggle I made a sound that sounded like a Whale getting kicked and punched and I folded in on myself somehow (⁠@⁠_⁠@⁠)
