When I was working at Taco Bell I once picked up the headset with “hi, welcome to Wend– Jack– Burger– WHAT.”

The customer started laughing. She laughed even harder when I said “I’VE NEVER EVEN WORKED ANY OF THOSE PLACES.”

I kept almost saying ‘have a good idea’ instead of ‘have a good day’ and then correcting myself. After I finally slipped, I never had that problem again. The customer just laughed… the manager was right there but he never said anything
