one thing you need to accept is that dnp probably wont ever explicitly say "we are dating" ok? like, ok... what do we know about what they will actually say right? like i never thought big and coty would ever happen like that but here we are. What I'm saying is that they went as far as confirming it as they are comfortable with and i think it is POLITE to fucking understand what they meant. Dan is proud of their relationship but it belongs to them. Acknowleding it is the respectful thing to do, there is nothing wrong with it, they are fine with it, Dan even said he takes the curiosity about it as a compliment. It's just that they dont want people being intrusive about it because it belongs to them. They don't have to SAY it any clearer than they already have. Dan did say they are more than friends, and they are acting like a reserved couple. Just fucking stop asking "when did they say" because we all know what we mean by when they said it, but theres more than spoken words to this. There is a reason why most of the phandom have been quite sure they are a couple for a while before that video. There is a reason Dan said "OBVIOUSLY we were more than friends". There is a logical pattern here, a path to follow, goes beyond and deeper than statements that will only serve to attract unwanted attention from mainsteam media and stupid people that don't actually care about them. Like I said, they found a way to tell their viewers without telling the whole world. Dan is a fucking genius.
