quick sidenote on the jd vance cursing the orbán regime situation. memes are very funny etc etc but lets not forget that this was thanks to hungarian people deciding that theyve had enough of 16 years of fear mongering on a nation wide level, economic instability and democratic backsliding DESPITE the fact that the entire electoral system, public media, judiciary, and a joke of a "constitution" was working against them. the fidesz govt. systematically dismantled the rule of law, accountability, independent media and there was little to no dialogue in the public sphere about where things should head. the hungarian citizens voted trust to a guy basically unknown until two years ago when the govt. failed to keep their failings of child protection a secret anymore. my point is that can we not make this about another fascist politician but instead the people who decided they cant bear this system anymore?

Hungary finally got rid of its fucking corrupt government after 16 years. I have no idea about the video quality but there is a techno party in front of the parliament with fire show and I'm happy and drunk AF.
