I can't shake the feeling that Birdperson is an Earth-obsessed weeb.

I like to think he watches earth tv the same way Rick and Morty watch Interdimensional Cable.

He turns into a wine mom whenever Birddaughter acts up because he's seen it on the screen

He recognizes Hugh Jackman right away

He understands the concept of an intervention in surprising details because he's watched enough sitcoms

He even gets himself an earth wife (he thinks he does 😢)

And I think he doesn't watch the good stuff. Just old sitcoms, Marvel movies and infomercials

i like to imagine bprick in kinda intimate situations that to birdperson are just regular friend skinship things but to rick are very romantic hehe

but i think bp kind of knows how rick feels about him and keeps him physically close cuz he doesnt want rick to feel bad, which i think rick would take advantage of to the fullest extent

and when they make eye contact... in this kind of moment... they have a shared moment of silent understanding... that they cant ever be what rick wants them to be! waaahhhhahaaa

I read one of the comics about Morty watching a documentary flashback to when Rick was in a band with Birdperson and Squanchy and i really liked these panels at the end that Morty sings Birdperson's song to Rick and Rick smiles while listening to it.
