These photos were taken at the Adirondack Interpretative Center which is part of the State University of New York College of Environmental Forestry (ESF) in the Adirondack Mountains of northern New York State. It is located in Newcomb, NY. They have a wonderful lodge with 3.6 miles of trails on it’s 236 acre property. It sits on the shoreline of Rich Lake and Rich Lake outlet. Trailheads are located at the building. This center is part of ESF’s Huntington Wildlife Forest, a 15,000 acre filed station, called the Adirondack Ecological Center.
