Dudes get divorced at 45 and realize they don't know how to cook or clean or do taxes and suddenly they get really into avenging some city state that was humiliated 1000 years ago. (Drunk driving with a firearm)

Amazing news I just found out! The wonderful Three Lights, a repository for high quality Sailor Moon scans, has HQ scans of the ultra-rare calendar that Naoko Takeuchi and her husband Yoshihiro Togashi (creator of Hunter x Hunter among other series) made in 1999 to commemorate their wedding.
This is such a blessing to both fandoms!
basket coffee filters. if you even fucking care
"Modern retelling" and it's a blatant misinterpretation of the original text
You’re right and you should say it
It's not just erasure of queer characters. It's disrespect of Wilde's memory in the worst way. Oscar Wilde went to JAIL for being gay and his book was used as evidence against him. This was his only novel and they censored it to make it less queer even back then.
This is a crime.
Anyway boycott the modern adaptation of Dorian Gray.
UBI needs to happen. via antiwork
I think most importantly, it would give us the leverage to say “no”. To walk away from bad jobs and abusive managers. To refuse to work in unsafe environments. To demand better pay.
To demand better, because the options are no longer “suck it up” or “die”.
The counter-argument: Not having UBI is in the interests of those in power who want to do anything to the people they are in power over in order to remain in power.
If the greed of the few should come before the need of the many.
