Concept: Angels don’t have to wear their halos on their head.
Turn the halo into a gold collar.
Shrink it down into a ring or bracelet.
Turn it into a gold septum.
Sacred nipple piercings.
please stop telling me about halo cock rings
Okay, as someone with angel OCs, I love this idea.
competitive angel accessories fashions
figuring out how to make them flash brightly or maybe even somehow change colors, and rave jewelry
‘traditional’ angels scoffing at others experimenting with shapes and designs. (Hey, exist for a few millenia and let’s see how bored you get?)
fabric with halo designs on it?
hipster infinity scarves with one single stripe somehow going through the whole thing and connecting with itself
ponytail holder
really neat belt that everyone tries to figure out how you put on since it seems to be one solid piece with no hook? silly humans will never figure it out, lol
But that aside, I had ideas for RELATIONSHIPS.
Angels who are in relationships with each other who decide to mimic human traditions in bonding and find out they can exchange halo ‘rings’
What if wearing another’s halo like that gives you a surprise bond to them? Like you can kind of sense them or something?
Wanting to protect a dear friend and having them wear your halo as a bracelet so you can always have a feel for how they’re doing.
Then I let the ideas get even more harebrained, because THAT’S WHAT I DO and I kind of made up a whole set of rules for a universe where this is possible for that universe’s angels?
That like, how one angel puts their halo on another person can influence the bond? So, for instance, Angel 1 and Angel 2 decide to do this thang everyone else is doing. Angel 1 shrinks their halo down to a ring and hands it over to Angel 2 to put on their finger. The important thing is that Angel 2 is the one to ACTUALLY put it on their own finger, so they end up like...the primary one in the bond?
Whereas if Angel 1 is the one to ACTUALLY slip the ‘ring’ onto Angel 2′s finger, Angel 1 is the one who is ‘primary’ in the bond.
And this doesn’t normally matter, except someone realizes that the primary person in this bond can actually influence the other person? And this doesn’t matter for those couples who trade rings and both do it the same way and who don’t take advantage of it like that.
But either for people interested in...ahem...CERTAIN sorts of relationships (and I am sure that there are angel OCs out there who WOULD be interested in that sort of thing), or for evil angels/devils/whatevs, this could then be used to kind of...take control, somehow, of the angel in question? (I rather think collars or other forms would work even better than normal rings at that point. :3 )
BUT WHAT ABOUT FALLEN ANGELS?
What if they have halos, but they’re sorta...turned off. And someone, maybe super zealous warrior angels who want to have a failsafe way to imprison fallen ones if the shit ever hits the fan again, figure out how to sort of...reactivate them, at least enough to take control of them. And you have warrior angels taking it on themselves to run prisons, and they have dark halos on each finger, a whole handful of them. And the really ‘bad’ ones they stick their OWN halo on as an extra control measure.
But then what if a fallen angel fell in love with a regular one? They would have to trust each other so much for the fallen one to wear the regular one’s halo, since there wouldn’t be a way to equalize that.
...
...anyways.
That’s enough rambling from me.
At least for now.
I may have more thoughts another time. xDDD
