I’ve been working on this idea for weeks and I am honestly really happy with how this turned out. I know nobody asked for this but I wanted to do it for myself. It was a lot of fun and it even gave me a chance to experiment with new ways of adding lighting and shading and especially finding a better way of painting water. I plan to make more of these so I really hope you guys like it ☺️💕

Art block is a very common problem among artists and so many artists mention their struggles with art block. But I was thinking. Am I the only one with the opposite problem? Don’t get me wrong I do get artblock like any other artist. But recently I have way too many ideas and not enough time to make them. I have so many things I wanna do that I wish there was another me to help me make these. Can anybody relate? Or is it just me?

One of my prompts on olympiantober was POC appreciation, so I decided to draw all the main people of color from heroes of olympus ^^

I wish I could’ve included more of them but I was running out of time 😅

Octavian 🧸🗡

Not a lot of people draw Octavian and I completely understand why. He’s a Villain, an antagonist and not a lot if people like him.

But I think thats why it was so fun to design him. My brain could not imagine him any other way than this cartoonishly goofy/evil/obnoxious looking guy. I wanted him to look so stuck up and smug that it makes you want to punch him. 🤛

I decided to practice a bit with facial expressions and I thought Octavian would be perfect for it. I really stepped out of my comfort zone and I really enjoyed it. Hope you guys like it.
