I don't have a horse in this race, but to be fair they DIDN'T tag that post at 'winterargent', they tagged it as 'anti winterargent', to accomodate people who have blacklisted that tag bc they don't want to see people hating on their favorite ship. Tumblr's current search function simply sees that the word 'winterargent' exists in the post or its tags and pulls it for you who wants 'winterargent' content, because it doesn't realize that post is the OPPOSITE of what you want to see.

I’m aware they put the anti tag on it, but given the fact that we all know how Tumblr’s search system works at this point, I think it’s more than fair to expect people to realize that writing things in tags of a post would get it shown up in the search tags regardless, so people should be more diligent in just keeping things out of the tags altogether. I do not tag anything unless I want it to be seen in the tags.
