           She smiles at him, her cheeks flushing in their usual way. She pulls on a strand of hair that falls in front of her face, before writing down his order. She holds up a finger to excuse herself for a moment, walking toward the counter to give away the order to her fellow workers. 

           “Of course! I’ve been really good, thanks. I’ve been really busy with piano lessons after school.” She mimics playing the ivories with her fingers, “What about you? What have you been up to? I haven’t been to the farm in forever.”

     The start of a new week brings Link into the city for his usual grocery and supply shopping. It didn’t take as long as expected, so he has extra time to hang out at the ice cream parlor — his regular dessert stop. He might even get three scoops instead of two since it’s so HOT outside. The bell over the shop’s door rings when he walks in, and he waves to Maru as soon as he sees her. Now, should he get a new flavor or stick with the same old butter pecan…?

            The blonde girl hears the sound of the ice cream parlor’s door swinging open, the girl looking out to regard the customer walking through the door. It was Link!

            A gigantic smile is brought to her face as she approaches him, her pink and blue uniform swaying with each step. She adjusts the small visor on her head, as she stops in front of him. 

           “Linkkun, I’ve missed you! What would you like today? The usual?” She asks, her head tilting to the left.

      He knows that look. She’s up to no good and he wants to tell her as much, but she has a much different agenda. His mouth draws open, the words ‘yeah right’ needing to be expressed but her sudden movements shut him right up. 

      En garde! comes with as much grandeur as it does motion. He can’t react fast enough and she smacks him right in the face with it. A disgruntled note expresses his duress and down he goes. He reaches out to snatch hold of her wrist as he does so. If he’s going down, she’s coming with him! 

      He isn’t about to stop there and even if he can’t see her due to her clever sneak attack, it doesn’t mean he won’t try to tickle her. It isn’t like he’s thinking of the repercussions of it all over a need to retaliate against her schemes. 

      ❝Y’really asked for it, Maru!❞ He’ll play along with her, if that’s what she wants, but he won’t make it easy for her.

            The girl laughs childishly as Jun falls over, but that laugh is soon replaced with a squeak as she falls down with him. Maru feels her cheeks heat up as she realises what position they’re in, the girl covering her mouth with her hand. Jun was on top of her, his hands squirming over her petite frame as he begins to tickle her. 

             “J-Jun!” She squeaks out his name, her head craning back as she lets out muffled giggles at his attacks. The giggles shortly turn in to full blown laughter, Maru’s small body wriggling under his grasp. Hanamaru has found herself in an inescapable position, it seems. What was there to do? There was no defense against his fingers. 

             “S-stoooop!” She whines out.

A calm moment

Izumi sighed as he sat down on the bath, appreciating the feeling of the warm water around him. He was trying his best to act confident so Hanamaru could relax, but he was still having a hard time accepting this all as a reality and not another one of his many daydreams.

In fact, he was still surprised she had gone alone with his little teasing joke of ‘bathing together’…

The girl then stepped into the tub, the level of the water riding up to his own chest as she sat down right in between his legs. Only until she had sat down did he lowered his hands from his eyes, now moving forward to hold her tight against his chest.

“So nice” he mumbled. He had prepared the bath himself and damn if it wasn’t great. Especially when he got to hold his new GIRLFRIEND like this. She fit so right in his arms. He was so lucky.

           She still couldn’t believe this was happening to both of them. She was sitting naked in front of her long time best FRIEND, Sena Izumi. Her cheeks are filled with a nervous blush as she feels him snake his arms around her waist. She leans her head back to press it against his chest, amber hues regarding his peaceful face. 

           She smiles up at him, pressing a loving kiss to his jawline before scooping up some of the soapy suds in to her hands. She places them atop his head, letting out a sweet giggle. 

          “A lovely crown for my KING.” She states, regarding his face. The bath is so warm around her body, she sinks into it even further. Maru places her hands on top of his, squeezing their linked appendages. She felt at peace.

           Maru blinks as she listens to him stutter out a reply to her, the girl’s heart going from the pits of her stomach back to its regular place. She felt at peace in that moment, the girl thankful that he did want to make love to her. She was worried that they had moved too fast.

           “O-oh!” She replies, watching as the boy’s cheeks darken. She covers up her mouth to stifle a giggle that was ready to bubble up at any moment. Her head cranes back as she starts to laugh at Izumi, the boy watching her with confused eyes. 

           “Of course, Izumi-senpai. Next time.” She whispers to him, her giggles subsiding. She guides his face near hers, giving him a reassuring kiss. Her mouth molds against his perfectly, and then she pulls away, smiling wide. 

           “Now how about that bath?”

Explaining the reason why he had to stop had been embarrassing enough, and now she was laughing at him. Her sweet little voice bubbling up and brightening the whole place up.

This was way better than having her feeling sad and insecure, so he just accepted the well deserved laugh. Cheeks still red and face full of regrets and disappointment. At least until she reached up with both arms to hold him close, giving him a warm kiss that made his heart dance again.

“I love you Maru-chan” he asserted, nuzzling her cute little face and kissing her again to assure her of how much he adored her. A small smile on his lips, he made sure to pass his arms around her back and give her one tight squeeze that lifted her small body from the bed. He loved her so much.

“Right! I’ll get it ready for you, so just stay here and relax” he smiled, giving her one more cheek kiss before getting up, he finally got on his feet. Casually picking up his clothes from the floor he dressed up a bit before walking over to the bathroom and starting the water.

Well, at least he had a few minutes to calm down before calling her to take her bath…
