Just finished Modulo and I have a lot of thoughts about JJK as a whole (and surprisingly a lot of them are really positive!) but first I want to acknowledge that against all odds, Gege has created not just one but two sibling pairs where one doesn't have to die for the other to survive, and I am so proud.

The Ging slander in Hunter x Hunter was so iconic. Like the protagonist's dad, this legendary figure, a maniac who is so strong that he straight up does whatever the hell he wants because no one can stop him—and the public detests him. He's like getting tomatoes thrown at him unpopular. Like getting kicked on the curb with the trash levels of unpopular.

Literally, he is so disliked that Leorio, who's a random nerd plucked from the corner of the country as far as the rest of the psycho hunters are concerned, becomes the most respected politician just because he punches Ging in the face on national television 😭
