James wants out. He's done working for the underground crime syndicate that stole away his youth. The problem is—one doesn't simply just leave. The moment James made his decision to leave, he put a target on his back; a target that's drawn the attention of every assassin in the Hallow. In his desperation, James turns to the one friend he knows will help him, regardless of the Hallow's rules about those labelled "excommunicado". But, upon finding Sirius, James discovers that maybe he hasn't lost everything. Salvation comes in the form of an old love (or something that the two of them haven't quite named): Regulus Black.

Regulus already thought that being so obsessed with a show like Temptation Island was embarrassing enough, but when Dorcas, his best friend, convinces him to pretend to be a couple so they can join the new season of the show, he fears he might've hit rock bottom.

To make matters worse, he can't even enjoy what he's trying to think of as an improptu vacation, because of course he'd end up falling for one of his fellow participants. And of course said participant would be none other than James Potter, who'd rather cut his own hand than cheat on his perfect girlfriend, and who is also painfully straight.
