some person on tiktok just trying to vent: im an adult who has never been pursued romantically or even hit on or complimented. this makes me insecure because society places such a strong emphasis on romantic and sexual relationships so i feel like i am missing out on a fundamental aspect of life. it also makes me feel singled out and unattractive because most people i know get complimented on their appearance and i have never experienced that before.

somebody with no ability to read the room who also very much cannot relate: ummm just try loving yourself maybe? relationships aren’t even a big deal you’re not missing out on anything 🙄 i get called hot like seven times a day but it honestly doesn’t even improve my self esteem that much. true confidence comes from within #girlboss

the last time I reblogged this post right before I got a great job, in a permanent work-from-home position, with benefits, retirement, and a salary literally 3x what I was making before, doing something I really like. 

So you know. 

This might be the real one, y’all.

it’s gotta be buck clawing at the mud and being so out of it with fear when the well collapses just to have to be dragged away by bobby and sobbing in his lap in the pouring rain. like - theoretically, it’s absolutely unnecessary to the plot and they very easily could’ve dialed that reaction a couple hundred notches back and still have it be completely believable. like - all of them are in danger all the time and yet this is the first time we see any reaction of this scale? and then everyone else being so careful with buck afterwards and buck being completely shut down until eddie comes back?? insanity

Oh, friend. This was a moment where I thought I understood what unhinged looked like before. But that was really just me putting limitations on what was possible for Buck and Eddie's story. Because Buck wailing at the earth? Clawing with his bare hands until they were bloody? Talk about unhinged...

But that wasn't enough was it? They also had to go and have the 118 give Buck the grieving spouse treatment. They had to have Bobby Nash — actual widower — give Buck the most empathetic look of such profound knowing. Bobby knows Buck and he knows intimately what Buck is going through in that moment.

(That Bobby look is one of my favorite 911 moments ever. The sheer weight of it — Bobby's history and his grief. His love for Buck. The whole 118's love for Buck. And Buck's love for Eddie being revealed and witnessed and cared for, by all of them. Whew.)
