Call me Kay~! 23, struggling female Writing Updates for My AO3 page mostly. Ping Pong back and forth between interests. Always so excited to chat with people about it. Here’s the Fandom’s I write for: Death Note, MDZS, HP, Hannibal, OHSHC, LOTM, and Genshin
Hi! You can call me Kay (she/her). This is my blog for all my miscellaneous fanfictions! Some of you will come from my main blog, uniquethingtastemaker, where I post Twisted Wonderland content. If not, Hi! I'm glad you stumbled into my cozy living room and enjoy my writing
I bounce around different fandoms like it’s professional ping-pong match, so expect content of all types.
DMs and Ask/Questions are welcome! I love to interact with enthusiastic fans, and I'm a rather responsive person. If you give a well-thought-out comment on a post and perhaps engage in a discussion with me, I will certainly reach out and befriend you!
My AO3 Account -> kcase21 (this is where I post full fanfics) (lmk if the link works. Haven’t had to link full account before lol)
Most of the content I write for this blog will be yaoi/bl/shonen ai/gay, whatever you want to call it… I also have a penchant for people getting thrown back into their younger body. It’s one of my favorite tropes.
Here are the fandoms I'm currently writing for:
Death Note
Harry Potter
Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation
Ouran High School Host Club
Ace Attorney (mainly on my other blog tbh because reader insert)
Persona 5
Hannibal, the TV Show
Lord of the Mysteries
Genshin Impact
Below are the current summaries/vibes for each fanfic, along with the working status of them (Current Rotation is the several fics I cycle through all at once. Mild Rotation are in the current cycle, but are not in the main priority. There's only one Priority Fic at any time):
Concept: Usually, I hate “Light isn't Kira” fanfics. However, this one is different because Light still becomes a criminal and creates a second identity. I thought that Light had the potential to do something crazy if backed into a corner and mentally unstable, even without the Death Note. The catalyst? Gay Panic in college. It doesn't fit his perfect student image. Watch as Light gains real friends (in the form of criminals (OCs. You'll like them. Trust me)), decides to become a defense attorney (because of daddy issues and getting extra protection from criminals), and gets framed for being Kira
Continued: Kira is an OC, which I don't usually do. However, I guarantee you'll find them interesting. They're much different from Light's version of Kira, more philosophical (inspiration for the title) and cautious. You'll get many scenes from their perspective, but I don't reveal who it is. They will appear in the storyline with their true identity. However, you'll have to figure out who Kira really is.
A/N: "New Kira" (that's what I call Fanfic Kira to distinguish them from Canon, Light Kira) will frame Light for reasons explained in the fic. Now, New Kira strikes after Light has created and solidified his second identity's reputation... that means Light has had great character development. If New Kira is trying to frame Light, that means the profile and philosophy of Kira in general have to change. I'm playing 6D chess, trying to figure out how to align all these pieces. It's intense. Rewarding, but exhausting.
Mild Rotation: this fanfic takes a lot of energy to puzzle together, so i have to do it in pieces
"Death Note/Harry Potter Crossover" aka Shinigami Intervention -- L/Light (STICK WITH ME! HERE ME OUT)
Pre-Note: Usually, I hate crossovers, but there are some pretty good DN/HP Fanfics. It inspired me to create my own
Official Summary: The Shinigami King gets a little too invested in L and Light’s game and foresees Kira’s success when they close in on the Third Kira. Unwilling to let go of the greatest detective, he asks an old friend for help. Death gleefully accepts and dumps the two in the Forbidden Forest of Hogwarts. This time, the detective duo has to navigate the magical world while figuring out the unique powers they’ve gained from Death and the Death Note, and perhaps, Light doesn’t want to kill L anymore.
Notes to Entice You: Light has Reformed Kira, aka he's more selective about his killings. Light has to stop himself from losing his shit because he's being monitored. The fic takes place in Harry's fourth year (time is an illusion), and Light becomes the Hogwarts Champion. The duo figures out all the mysteries relatively quickly, which is just funny to watch. Although the way they go about handling those "mysteries" is very different from canon.
Chapter 1
Harry Potter (4-ish Fanfics)
Reawakening -- Harry Potter/Severus Snape (don't come for me)
Official Summary: Harry Potter is thrown back into his 15-year-old body twenty years after the Battle of Hogwarts. He wakes up in the Battle at the Department of Mysteries. Sirius fell through the Veil and left an opening for another to pass through. The portal transports Harry, the Master of Death, to the past.
Link to Fic
Stuck, but Low Priority: Looking for HP writers/fans who I can bounce ideas off of
Various Versions of Same Concept -- Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy
Base Idea: After an Auror raid gone wrong, Harry Potter finds himself in his younger body (depending on the fanfic, age differs). By 21, he's gone all over the world with his boyfriend, Draco, and learned many traditional magics. Now, he gets to use those magics to do whatever I want him to
First Version -- Third Year: I've decided that the age gap would be too wide, so the only viable way for this to survive is to have it be a different pairing. Perhaps Snarry? I have a lot of content for this, so it would be nice to save it. However, let me know what you think when I post more about it.
Crack Version? -- Third Year: I had no idea that I could even write crack, but if anyone is interested in a random, one-shot crack version of the first option, let me know.
Most Viable Version -- Sixth Year: This is the newest and most undeveloped idea. It's more of a vibe, blob concept than a substantial plot right now. However, the age gap is relatively acceptable, and the timing of Harry's arrival provides a good motivation and call to action. That would be Draco getting marked. Other than that, I have no idea what happens next. Please send in your ideas and thoughts. They spur me to create!
Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation (1 Fanfic)
"Huaisang x Xichen Fanfic" -- Nie Huaisang/Lan Xichen (simple and straightforward)
Concept: After canon, Huaisang eventually gains the title of Chief Cultivator. During this time, his character develops as he takes on two successors (Huaisang thinks being sect leader is too big a task for one person, so having kids who are in sync would be easier for them). His successors work together to solve problems and learn from Huaisang (aka Huaisang uses his kids to do his work for him. He oversees them, but even after everything, the man still doesn't like to do work)
Cont.: One day, on a boat to Lotus Pier, something happens that throws Huaisang back into his 15-year-old body. He finds himself in the middle of his second year at Gusu. After realizing he can't return to his present time, Huaisang unfortunately can't sit back and let things unfold. Even after years of leading a sect and becoming Chief Cultivator, one thing hadn't changed: Huaisang hated working hard, but with his da-ge's life on the line and the regretful fate of others, he had to do something. Follow Huaisang as he lies, manipulates, and pulls strings behind the scenes to get the desired result. On the other side of the story, Xichen stumbles upon Huaisang while he's alone, finding the person behind the masks. It intrigues him. He comes back every day, drawn to the other's duality. Now, Xichen watches Huaisang like a hawk, eventually gaining the Lan Clan's inevitable lovers obsession.
Ouran High School Host Club (1 Fanfic)
"Tamaki x Kyoya Fanfic" -- Kyoya Ootori/Tamaki Suoh (another simple and straightforward one)
Concept: The Host Club gets assaulted and kidnapped by an unknown organization and set to play a game. Haruhi is hidden somewhere on Ouran Academy's campus, and if the other members don't find her by sunrise, she'll be killed.
A/N: Don't usually see a lot of serious OHSHC fanfics, but my random middle school idea came back to, and I thought it was viable
Mild Rotation
Persona 5 (1 Fanfic)
"Akechi x Akira Fanfic" -- Goro Akechi/Kurusu Akira (easy to search in my google drive)
Concept: While Maruki's Palace is crumbling, Akechi finally lets himself feel his longing for life purely because Akira made his last month the best he's had in over a decade. When everything fades to black, he's suddenly hit in the face and disorientedly finds himself in the middle of Sae's Palace. He realizes he somehow time-traveled. Sick of his princely facade, he eventually proposes a different deal to the Phantom Thieves.
Hannibal, the TV Show (1 Fanfic)
"Hannibal x Will Fanfic" -- Will Graham/Hannibal Lecter
Concept: Will's already a serial killer. His method uses his empathy to perfectly replicate other serial killers. Nobody bats an eye if someone doesn't claim a body. To show his love and appreciation for his favorite artist, Will creates a perfect rendition of the Chesapeake Ripper's work. It goes about as well as expected. Will already knew the famed serial killer would be offended, but he had to try.
Lord of the Mysteries (2 Fanfics)
"Azik x Klein" -- Azik Eggers/Klein Moretti
Concept: What if Azik had a bigger impact on Klein than in the original? Obviously, the genre is romance with the typical horror style.
“Aziklein — Time Travel” — Azik Eggers/Klein Moretti
Concept: I was inspired by @lion-writer’s post about a potential Aziklein fanfic and decided to adopt it
Cont.: After covering all potential loopholes, Azik finally uses the coin Klein gave him to travel back in time. It works as his soul fuses with the other half in his past's body. Two halves create a whole, securing Azik's powers as a true Death Consul. Having picked the day Klein was buried after the Megose incident, he waits for his beloved student to revive again. This time, Klein doesn't have to do everything by himself, including pretending to be an evil god. Azik decides to be a little selfish and do what he’s wanted for a while: pursue Klein romantically. He just has to make sure he doesn’t scare his beloved cat
Priority Fic
"Emlyn x Klein" -- Klein Moretti/Emlyn White
Concept: I couldn't get this crack ship out of my head since I love our beloved and ridiculous Sanguine, Emlyn White. I'm not a fan of the Utravsky x Emlyn ship, so our only other victim is poor Klein. This ship has the potential to be cutely hilarious, so I think a one-shot will suffice. It won't be popular, but I love Emlyn. He's just a funny character
Mild Rotation
Genshin Impact (1 Fanfic)
“Dottore x Pantalone” — Il Dottore/Pantalone
Concept: After Feofan dies of old age and mostly smoke inhalation, he’s somehow returned to his 20 year old body when he first meets Zandik. This time, he vows to save the person he’s loved for centuries but never said to the other directly.
Why is nobody talking about the parallels between Amun and Zandik? And potentially to a lesser extent, Nabu Malikata and Pantalone?
These are my 2am thoughts, so they're unrefined. I might edit them in the morning. Here goes nothing. I will also be using photos because that’s easier than explaining the knowledge and lore myself
You know who else has an issue with Time? That’s right. Zandik. And he did something about it, like Amun did, albeit in a different way.
Instead of creating the Elixir of Life or Segments, like Zandik, Amun created a whole world outside of the Heavenly Principles' control, as mentioned here
Who else wants to defy the Heavenly Principles? Zandik. He also “attempted” to create a different world inside Irminsul, similar to Amun. However, by this point we all know that his real goal was to burn Irminsul (idk source to put rn lol), so the others were forced to transfer the data and the dead to a man-made system. That’s what Zandik wants. He doesn’t want the Heavenly Principles controlling fate or Teyvat.
So, they’re very similar, except one is much more destructive than the other. The ends justify the means kind of thing… however, everyone, including himself, I think (point of contention, feel free to correct lol), thinks what he’s done is heinous.
Now, here comes the more gay lens with Nabu Malikata and Pantalone. Bordering on delusional, through this lens, hilariously, Dottolone is doing a way better job than Amun and the Goddess of Flowers.
There are a few reasons why I connect Nabu Malikata. First, Amun is so similar to Zandik that it makes sense that the other paralleled character would be her, and by extension, Feofan.
Feofan means Manifestation of God. Nabu Malikata is the Goddess of Flowers. Both have God/Goddess. In addition, it can be argued that Zandik and Amun worshipped the other party in some way. Amun is obvious. He created a whole realm honoring her. However, there are a few instances of Zandik doing it with Feofan.
One of those instances is how 35 talks to Feofan during their conversation in Sumeru, while he’s in Irminsul. It’s framed similarly to how the Traveler talks to the Archons. If we follow that logic, Zandik stands side by side with Feofan but is still so important that Feofan is like Dottore’s God in a way.
Now, it could be argued that Zandik didn’t have to continue creating the Elixir of Immortality for Feofan, since it didn’t work on him, but he didn’t. While there was mostly a transactional portion at that time, it still mimics Amun building Eternity (interesting wording… interesting parallel) for Nabu Malikata. She didn’t have any romantic interest toward him. For Dottolone, there’s mutual attraction at least. Regardless, the romantic side wasn’t quite there for both, or it is, but they haven’t gone further, probably
If we continue with the Elixir logic, you could also say that 35 convinced the others to dissect the Original Zandik because he knew that it was the last ingredient they needed to create the full Elixir of Immortality for Feofan. Perhaps there was the prospect of simply completing the Elixir just because they could. However, I believe there are deep feelings between all the segments toward Pantalone, and they all wanted him to live more than themselves. This sentiment can be seen as Pantalone straight-up points it out
The point is Zandik goes very far to make sure Feofan stays alive and even sacrificing himself at times. He even makes sure he can still have Alpaca Wool for his comfort and desires
They could’ve rejected him, but they didn’t, and I think it wasn’t because they would’ve lost funding. Maybe they would’ve, but they enjoy Pantalone’s company. Any version of Dottore wouldn’t willingly engage with someone longer than necessary unless the other person matched his level and intelligence. Therefore, at the very least, Zandik is fond of Feofan.
The last aspect is Feofan’s eyes and Nabu Malikata’s flower.
They’re way too similar. Alright, I’m done yapping, and I rest my case. Dottolone is a less tragic version of Amun and Nabu Malikata because Zandik is obviously coming back based on the crucible theory
Hopefully, this made sense. I didn't edit this lol. Maybe in the morning
Did anyone notice that when 35 asked Pantalone what age he would preserve himself at, Omega didn’t give him time to answer, instead immediately suggesting the 20 year-old-version of Feofan…… Based on the timeline, Zandik met Feofan when he was 33 and Pantalone was 20…
…I saw a post about how both 35 and Pantalone were longing for different versions of each other, and now I can’t unsee it. Omega wants his version of Feofan back, while Pantalone longs for the Original
@questionableblogger’s posts reminded me of that detail, and she probably knows the other post I’m talking about lol
Alright, gang. I’m wondering if anyone likes this snippet, and if it’s in character (even though we don’t know much). The premise is this:
After Feofan dies of old age and mostly smoke inhalation, he’s somehow returned to his 20 year old body when he first meets Zandik. This time, he vows to save the person he’s loved for centuries but never said to the other directly.
Here it is. Tell me what you think!
Feofan felt the cold first. The smooth concrete on his face made him involuntarily curl in on himself. His stomach throbbed amidst other people’s cries and sobs.
Where was he?
The Harbinger pried his eyes open to find himself in a cell with a few other simpletons. They shuddered and shook from fright. If Feofan had the energy, he would’ve curled his lips in distaste, but he didn’t. Ever since Zandik died, he had never been the same. While Pantalone eventually achieved his ambitions, it felt hollow without Dottore. He never came back from the burning of Irminsul.
Feofan didn’t have time to properly think or recalibrate, as two guards came and roughly grabbed him. The motion snapped the banker out of his slump. He didn’t take kindly to being manhandled. Even with a death wish, it didn’t mean he would die with such humiliation.
Lavender eyes systematically categorized his blurry surroundings.
Steel lined the hallway, floor, and ceiling. No windows. Perhaps they were underground.
The place struck him as one of Dottore’s many facilities. The financier couldn’t place this lab. There were so many, and in classic Dottore fashion, he often just abandoned them after taking the important data. Pantalone did preserve the most important and intact ones if the man ever came back. This place could’ve been occupied and taken, but the building smelled familiar.
Sharp antiseptic and pure chemicals mixed with the strong ventilation system. It conjured memories of the Doctor alive and buried in his research. Oddly, the scent wasn’t aged or dusty. Neither were the walls tarnished or degrading.
Finally, the guards—Fatui, he strangely realized—pushed open a door. Lavender eyes met the only thing that mattered in the room.
A blur of teal stood out against the grey sheets of metal.
Feofan’s breath hitched.
…Zandik?
A deep ache settled in the banker’s chest. He didn’t know what was going on, but… maybe… maybe Zandik was really there? Was this some sort of last-minute hallucination before he died?
Feofan didn’t know, and he didn’t particularly care. He missed the man too much to not interact with him.
Before the banker knew it, a familiar scholar stood in front of him with a clipboard.
“Specimen 3: slim build, superficial injuries, appears alert and oriented,” Zandik observed and turned away. “Strip him and put him on the table.”
Specimen 3. That was his number when he first met Dottore, but the last sentence refocused the banker’s priorities. The Ninth Harbinger mask clicked into place.
A silky smooth voice echoed through the room with a pleasant business smile. “I can undress myself, gentlemen. No need to rough me up.”
His tone held a hint of humor at the end, making the soldiers stop their groping. Pantalone casually slipped an arm out of a guard’s grasp. He continued talking.
“I have no weapons on me, and I’m internally bleeding. I don’t stand a chance of either escaping you or harming our dear Doctor.”
He chuckled while gently removing the hold of the other stunned soldier. “Besides, you should have some pity for the famed Il Dottore’s specimens. You might find a spot under his scalpel someday. No one is off limits from his pursuit of knowledge, not even his fellow Harbingers. The man categorizes everyone based on how they can further his goals.”
He walked to Zandik with the confident steps, only softened as the pain in his abdomen increased. With practiced ease, he ignored it. Feofan wanted to interact with his friend as much as possible.
“The people the Doctor currently requires are better test subjects than a scrawny, bleeding 20-year-old and a banker. I have a better chance at providing those than you do,” Pantalone finished, strategically placing his longtime friend between him and the guards.
He didn’t want the low-level grunts to attack him because they were offended. Dottore always proved to be a good deterrent.
Masked eyes burned into the purple-haired man. Feofan envisioned Zandik raising an eyebrow.
“Are you offering your services?” The Doctor inquired.
The Regator’s shoulders involuntarily relaxed. An easy and more sincere smile peeked out from behind his metaphorical guard. It felt better than normal to have his beloved scholar’s attention on him again.
“Indeed, and if you need a test subject replacement, there’s a better one behind you,” Pantalone answered. “However, the value of the specimen depends on what you’re testing. Perhaps you want data about how your drug affects those with serious injuries. In that case, I would fit the criteria. All I know is that if you inject me with that experimental liquid, I’ll die and you’ll miss a crucial opportunity to increase your funding.”
With a familiar gesture of his hand, he inquired, “Would you hear me out?”
Dottore stared at Feofan before tilting his head, a hand raising to his chin, curious.
“You’ve piqued my interest, so I’ll tell you some details. I’m developing a drug to enhance someone’s strength. My budget is 3 million mora. What would you do to increase it?” he informed.
The Regator’s eyes involuntarily bulged.
“3 million? 3 million mora?”
Dottore crossed his arms with a condescending smirk. “Too big for you to handle?”
“No, it’s ridiculously low for you,” he instantly replied, almost horrified, before muttering. “No wonder you’re taking anyone from the streets.”
The Regrator shook himself off and returned to his usual role of the master of the economy. Per usual, the pain slipped away as his focus on work increased.
“Who is your patron?” Pantalone inquired.
“Boris Baranova,” Dottore slowly responded, betraying his interest.
The Regator filtered through his memories, honing in on his time as Zandik’s subordinate. He finally found the name amongst his internal ledgers.
Strict, militaristic, and expensive were the words that came to mind. Overall, the man was a less than ideal candidate.
Baranova was Feofan’s first investor he dealt with as his beloved scholar’s assistant. Pierro should still be in charge of finances at this time, so it made sense that the patron he picked was more serious than someone Pantalone could easily manipulate. The Regrator would rather not deal with a stubborn patron. There were other fish in the sea.
“I suggest recruiting Fyodor Filippov instead, as he’s more free form and radical. It makes him more agreeable to investing a higher number. Of course, this is on the basis that I speak with him rather than Pierro. The Jester must’ve picked Baranova because their personalities and values are similar. The Tsaritsa’s second in command negotiates in terms of reasonability, not in maximizing funding. I already have a strong suspicion as to Filippov’s bottom line, easily assuring my win. As long as I speak with the man, you’ll gain at least 10 million mora, nobody looking over your shoulder, and not having to attend financial meetings. Perfect for all of us,” the Regrator informed. “Plan B is convincing… Vadim Melnik, I believe his name is, to invest a higher amount than… 3 million.”
While the number was tinged with a hint of disdain, Pantalone moved on without pause.
“I’ve heard he’s more cautious about his investments, which leads him to wanting a bit more hands-on approach. Thankfully, we can circumvent this by simply blackmailing any spies who worm their way into the lab. I’m sure dissecting a Fatui traitor’s family in front of them will do wonders for convincing them to keep quiet. I’m sure there are a plethora of roaches, or we can make up one if you don’t want to look too hard.” He shrugged.
“You don’t seem to be bothered by sacrificing innocent lives,” Dottore commented.
“Should I be?” Feofan threw back. “One cannot achieve the grand ambition of overcoming human limits without stepping on others. As a banker, I operate on the idea that the best investments aren’t ones dealing in mora. Instead, I’d rather secure the catalyst of changing the current power system, someone willing and able to overthrow the Heavenly Principles.”
Zandik stilled.
Pantalone waited, allowing the words to sit. He didn’t stall too long, not wanting to answer questions about that. He held out his hand.
“Do we have a deal?” he asked. “It wouldn’t hurt to try. If I don’t meet your expectations, you always have a test subject available.”
(A/N: Do you think it's weird that Pantalone doesn't question what exactly is going on? My thought process is that he's mostly focused on Zandik, so he's willing to play along with whatever is happening to spend time with him. I'm equating it to an improv thing. Instead of going against the grain, you flow with it. For Feofan, he doesn't know when this will end, and he wants to spend time with Zandik normally. Plus, the Ninth has seen and knows about some mind-breaking realities, so this is just another one. What do you guys think?)
last night I had a dream and it was about an alleged 'spoiler' that came from the depths of my subconscious about how the goddess is a transmigrator and let me tell you, the way I jolted awake in panic and shock
If anyone is into ttrpg or dnd and loves Lord of the Mysteries, I’ve been translating the machine translation of a TTRPG version that someone in the Chinese side of the fandom created. I’ve altered some rules (bleeding is too complicated for a game this convoluted), gave a hard side eye on some of the abilities (“that isn’t canon” or “why is this ability in sequence 9? This is a sequence 7 ability…” or “they forgot the part where you can open a door on your body at sequence 9. I didn’t know that until the wiki told me. It’s a crime that they left it out”), and translated the untranslatable (“……is ’Mystic Runes’ is supposed to be ‘Mythical Creature Form'? …Oh my god, it is. How did they even get 'Mystical Runes'???”)
If anyone’s interested in it, the hilarity of what I’ve found, or how I’ve been playing it with my friends, let me know lol
One of the characters I'm playing is a female doctor from the Hanged Man Pathway who hates the True Creator... I thought it was too funny an idea to pass up, especially since I also despise the True Creator, but I thought that the Pathway was super interesting and strong
I'm also following major story events from LOTM, so that's fun
I've already secretly introduced Amon into one of the player's backstories! (we played it out, and my player really likes him. I'm just vibrating at the idea of betraying his character)... We're in Tingen btw, like around the beginning of the first book
I'm enthusiastic to see their reactions when they end up facing Megose, as they'll also be around Sequence 8. They're gonna think I'm batshit crazy, and I am, but I didn't come up with it. I'll just show them the chapter
I was watching the 2nd Lord of the Mysteries Special Episode and I got way more excited to see Creeping Hunger than Alger… it went something like this:
“Ayoooo, there’s our boi Alger! You're looking good, man! Look at your cool fighting—IS THAT CREEPING HUNGER?!?!?! IS THAT MY FAVORITE ITEM IN THE SERIES?!?!! I FORGOT CREEPING HUNGER WOULD BE HERE!! MY BABY!” *picks up laptop and cuddles screen* “This is one of the things that makes Gehrman so cool. I’m so happy to see it”
*later* “I forgot about Arrodes……… controversial question, but is he actually my favorite? ……………Actually, I can circumvent this dilemma. I’d argue Arrodes is more of a character than an item. While he may have the question stipulation, he can still talk, be sassy, and give us the beautiful chaos he is. Creeping Hunger can only communicate via “body language,” so it’s more like a deadly pet (Susie is obviously better, but she isn’t a Beyonder Characteristic. Therefore, she isn’t a viable option in this conversation). I mean, Creeping Hunger eats people. If you don’t feed it, it gets aggressive and eats you because it’s Hungry. In exchange, it does cool tricks for you like a well-trained animal or maybe a guard dog. So, Creeping Hunger is firmly my favorite”
I went through a lot of loopholes to make sure Creeping Hunger is my favorite and avoid the valid argument of Arrodes (and made sure to address the Susie one)
My dedication and love for Creeping Hunger is real and visible

I like how we’re all harassing @sonderdd about the monocle man. I didn’t realize they didn’t actually know. I’ve been spoiled too much on LOTM, so I’m still reading and catching up despite knowing a majority of the lore and what’s happened. I knew monocle man rather early on, but seeing the horror snippets still gets me. The major plot points r kinda there but there’s enough missing where I get spooked, surprised, or excited when I’m listening to the audiobook
Also @edanthetraveler makes a good point about which side the monocle is on. Don’t get scared of if it’s on the left eye unless it’s a joke

The fact that Pantalone and Dottore reflect a priest and a plague doctor makes so much sense...
At fiiiiirst the alliance between these two seems like a simple pact where one provides the money and the other runs the experiments (everyone and their mamas know that not really) however mihoyo do several details behind their visual designs that go far beyond mere sthetics their attire reveals a very interesting past.. why does the banker dress like a cleric, and the scientist like a plague doctor? 🤔
The Dance of Death
During the worst epidemics of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, cities became total quarantine zones. Whenever the plague rolled in, rulers and wealthy citizens packed up and fled to the countryside. In the middle of all that abandonment and chaos, plague doctors and priests were pretty much the only authorities who actually stayed behind to face the horror on the streets, since the science of the time blended religion with medicine, both professions needed each other to manage the chaos of the infected cities, Doctors treated human bodies while clergymen treated the soul (since the plague was considered a divine punishment) so doctors rarely treated a patient if he had not confessed to a cleric beforehand bcs a cursed soul could not be cured
The Lazarillos and Pure Faith (14th Century)
In the original Black Death outbreak, their teamwork came from sheer desperation. Back then, doctors just wore regular cloth clothes (no bird masks yet ☹️ ....) and they worked side by side with priests in lazarillos (make-shift plague hospitals administered by religious orders, but the technical staff were plague doctors) and it was a total team effort:
While the doctor tried to stabilize the patient's body, the priest kept people from completely panicking, which was a huge deal because hysteria caused massive riots in the wards.
If they visited an infected house, they went in together. The doctor figured out if the patient had a fighting chance, and the priest stepped in right behind him to prepare the dying for the afterlife bcs they breathed the same infected air and handled the same fluid exposures, both professions caught the plague and died at insane rates, literally they were literally wiping out together......
Bureaucracy and the Bird Mask (17th Century)
Flash forward to 1619, and a French doctor named Charles de Lorme invents the famous leather suit with the beak-shaped bird mask 🙂↕️ and by this time the doctor and priest dynamic wasn't just about faith anymore... it was a highly regulated government control system
The doctor called the shots, Protected by his leather suit and beak mask, the doctor was the only one allowed to go in first. The priest had to wait outside at a safe distance until the doctor tapped the door with his wooden cane to give him the green light for last rites.
Shared paperwork, Since people were dropping dead in days, wills had to be written on the fly, the doctor (from a distance) certified that the dying person was still lucid, and the priest blessed the document, both had to sign together as official legal witnesses.
Counting the bodies, at the end of every day, the bird-masked doctor and the parish priest had to sit down and cross-reference their lists of the dead to make sure the government's body count was completely accurate.
I find it curious that Pantalone and Dottore are inspired by the two professions that irl helped each other in such a catastrophe
Pantalone's design evokes a high ranking Orthodox cleric with liturgical vestments and the Globus Cruciger constellation and its strong inspirations based on a real priest named Feofan Prokopovich, Dottore for his part, reinterprets the 17th century beaked mask and all his characterization linked to crows
aaaaa but it's not just that 👁️
The Clergy banks and economy
Although the Church declared greed a sin.... in the age of the plague, the clergy controlled the world's economy, Monasteries functioned as the first modern banks, lending to kings and insuring fortunes. When the plague struck, the fear of hell became a multimillion dollar financial business.... wealthy people paid fortunes in gold for "indulgences" (papers that bought their entry into heaven) furthermore, if a wealthy family died without heirs from the disease, the Church automatically inherited all their lands and palaces (lol rests in piss my granny she got hit by a-) while the people lay dying in the streets, the clergy accumulated capital and controlled the flow of money.
The Doctor alchemy and science
In those centuries, medicine was not separate from magic or alchemy, Plague doctors didn't know what caused the disease, so they experimented with the occult, searching for the "Elixir of Life" to become immune, their prescriptions were a bit...well hum.... they made the sick drink ground gold and used arsenic or mercury to try to "neutralize" the plague's poison, but the most disturbing thing was that, although the Church forbade opening corpses, considering it a horrific sin, these doctors secretly performed illegal autopsies in dark basements to study the anatomy of the dead.
In the end.... these two professions were two sides of the same coin........ Clergy controlled the economy while the Doctor controlled the bodies, ppl who perform religious functions suffered massive mortality during the Black Death (estimated at between 42% and 45%), this high death rate led to a severe shortage of priests and a crisis of faith that called into question the moral authority of the Church and forbidden science, churches and wealthy cities needed to pay these doctors fortunes so that the financial system wouldn't completely collapse due to a lack of workers and the Doctors were critical figures during the epidemics, most were junior physicians or young mens hired by cities to care for all citizens rich or poor, needed the clerical capital to finance their clandestine laboratories and potions, It was like a perfect and twisted alliance 🙂↕️ the economy provided the funds and science did the dirty work in the shadows.
(It's kinda funny that two minds abandoned by the world have inspirations based on two professions that helped humanity from a deadly disease lmaooooo I never fell for the Panttore/Dottolone retcon anyways)
Merlin the main face of the idol group with his fun personality and Gehrman the rapper. Klein is the lead dancer (he's the first one with clown powers) who acts really chill all the time and thinks he isn't a big deal, but is actually incredibly popular. "I'm just here to dance I'm not even that good looking" nuhuh. everyone wants you.
Leonard is a solo artist in the same agency and went through one of those survival shows with Klein and is devastated they didn't end up signed as a duo.
I was like teehee I bet people will say something silly and cute and- proceeded to get shot in the face with rapper Gehrman and lead dancer Klein.
I love it! And Mr Fool is their mysterious manager who is definitely not one of the members himself, no sirree. Dwayne could be their lead vocalist? He's very commanding when he's out and about but in a fancy shmancy way. Sherlock would be an all rounder himself, with a side of more wet pathetic bastard energy going on to match with the others vibes of, "bastard but also [blank]" theme. I can see them being kind of rough but gentlemen themed which would sort of translated into Bastard energy lol
Poor Leonard never gets his way no matter what! His manager has to be Pallez by the way, for the extra points of Mr Fool and Pallez having beef and thus never being able to actually do a collab together (the beef of same agency managers is crazy lol)
name is probably Tarot (stylised in some way) or perhaps Blessed.
ofc Audrey owns the company. she is not heavily involved but she Sees Everything. she knows all your secrets, and more importantly knows when her staff are stressed and need therapy
Mr Fool an elusive manager who is almost never seen and is hard to get ahold of, but always answers his idols calls quickly
Pallez known for being finicky and scary as a manager but acts strangely lenient with Leonard. despite admonishing him a lot it's an oddly fond tone... netizens attribute this to Leonard's good looks and Tragic Backstory winning him over
Sinbad Voluntier was announced to be part of the group but never actually had any public appearances, rumours say he backed out at the last minute
the Face roll was assigned after a public vote and no one (in agency) expected Merlin to win it, but apparently he has this thing the fans call 'skrunkly rizz'.
Fan edits of Gehrman always feature a generous amount of gunshot sound effects. outside of performance he talks tersely and concisely, and no one can really tell if he's joking or not with his displeasure (Merlin can) (fans call it a miracle)
along with dancer Klein is also songwriter, but this isn't made public because he cringes really hard about it.
Klein would cringe really hard about it tbh, thats such a Klein thing to do about popular songs he wrote. Would Derek be one of their OG fans? And Alger as well? Always defending them online or in person, but Alger for sure glazes the hell out of them all the time to the point it's a little too much (fan site master Alger).
Derrick is the fan who is like "your songs changed my life" which makes Klein vaguely uneasy but Merlin is thrilled to have a positive impact on people.
Alger has a conspiracy theory that they're all actually related to incredibly powerful people in the economy/politics and is constantly trying to figure things out from their schedules and backgrounds and chats
Time travel Au where Azik goes back in time. Probably a little bit after the Megose incident, but when Klein takes him to his castle and he regains some memories could also work.
The fun thing is that Azik has only half a soul, which probably makes it much easier to send him back than someone with a whole soul. Plus he'll be landing in a body that Also has half a soul.
And like maths probably a bit funky but if you take 1/2 Azik soul and add another 1/2 Azik soul. Then you should get approximately one whole Azik!
Meaning no more death amnesia cycle! He's a full blown Angel at the peak of power with a hefty dose of humanity.
And the first thing he does is start praying to Klein.
Who is low-key freaking out. That's Mr. Azik! Why is he praying to him! How did he learn Kleins honorific name!
He brings Azik up to the grey fog, stressed about lying to Mr Azik. Only for Azik to just casually greet him as Klein. Complements him on the sepherah castle. Is just himself.
Anyways it's just a comedy of Klein being confused as to Why Exactly his former professor who is a fucking Sequence 2 Angel wants to join his tarot club. He's not complaining, it really helps Mr Fool's reputation to have an Angel under him. But Why???
Meanwhile Azik just really wants to court his cat. Because while the merging of past and future Azik means he's not really at risk of losing control. It Does mean that tends to forget that he and Klein aren't together yet and thus how familiar he should act.
So I saw many theories regarding how to make a Horcrux, but none of them really made perfect sense to me, so I decided to give it a crack myself as part of my mission to understand Lord Voldemort/Tom Marvolo Riddle (Which I think I did, big post coming about that at some point, this is but another piece of that puzzle of a man)
So this is my reverse engineering of a ritual to create Horcruxes based on book evidence, my knowledge of real-world alchemy, real-world ancient Greek cults and rituals and linguistic analysis.
How to reverse engineering a dark magical ritual:
The first thing, is to define what we knew fore certain:
The name: "Horcrux"
The creator is an Ancient Greek wizard named Harpo the Foul.
A death is required in the making.
A Horcrux holds a piece of the casters soul that anchors them to life so they won't die.
I'll actually start with the third point.
How to split a soul?
Both Dumbledore and Slughorn mention a death being required to tear your soul to make a Horcrux, and that never really sat right with me. It magically doesn't make sense and even the canon examples we have for Horcrux murders make this statment iffy.
We have seven examples of murders used to create Horcruxs (thanks to one Tom Riddle being dramatic):
The Diary - Myrtle Warren - killed by a basilisk. Sure, Tom freed the Basilisk, but it hardly seemed targeted at Myrtle specifically and you can argue he didn't actually kill her (more a manslaughter by negligence). He didn't cast the spell, so how come this tore his soul?
The Ring - his father (Tom Riddle Sr) - Avada Kadevra.
The Cup - Hepzibah Smith - she was poisoned by her house elf. Sure, the elf was under the imperious, but it wasn't a first-degree murder, and like with the Basilisk I find it hard to consider this the same as casting a killing curse. Magically those are very different things.
The Locket - Muggle Tramp - Avada Kadevra
The Diadem - Albanian Peasant - Avada Kadevra
Harry Potter - himself - backfired Avada Kadevra
Nagini - Bertha Jorkins - Avada Kadevra
Now, I used the term "magically different" or "magically make sense" what do I mean by that?
Well, besides the fact I'm going to make a full post about how I see magical theory in the Harry Potter Wizarding World, I'll say it takes a lot after occult philosophies from Alchemy that are very old, Slughorn mentions as much in book 6 and there are a few other references to it. I'm just gonna cover the basics required for this theory.
In Alchemy, everything (people, animals, plants and rocks) are built of three base components:
The Salt - the body - the physical form.
The Sulfur - the soul - the self that holds the divine flame.
The Murcury - the spirit - the life essence that binds the salt and sulfer together.
Now, in Alchemy, the main study is in purifying and combining these different aspects of material. Let's look at a herb, for an example:
If we want to retrieve its salt, we'll dry the herb completely using fire to leave behind a fine light grey ash that represents only the physical form.
If we wanted its mercury we'd distill all liquids from it until we get a purified, clear liquid which in the case of plants would be alcohol (it's why alcohol is referred to as "spirit").
And if we wanted its soul, we would take the remains from the distillation and drying process which would be a kind of oil.
(it can get more complicated with different materials, but this isn't a post about Alchemy)
Now, back to Horcruxs.
So, if we would want to split a soul, Alchemecly, how do we go about it?
Well, we don't. Not really. See a soul can't really be split, as every part of it, every bit of that oil from our random herb represents the entire soul. It's why something like a Horcrux could theoretically work in giving a full life to the diary the way we see in Chamber of Secrets.
Additionally, to work with any material in Alchemy, you are required to purify it first. It means that to get a piece of soul to bind to a diary, you need a pure soul.
Killing someone else won't sever your own soul from the spirit and the body, it's not how this works. Killing someone severs their spirit and therefore splits their body, spirit, and soul. Besides, an Ancient Greek man, like Herpo was, would hardly consider murder as vile as we do today. It wouldn't even cross his mind that any murder (even an indirect one) could harm one's own soul.
No, the only way to "split" a soul is to first sever it from life, disconnecting the bond between soul and body. Essentially, the only way to promise you immortality is to kill yourself.
I know it sounds a little confusing, but, essentially, once the soul is severed from the spirit and body you can split it. Think of the herbal oil, once you have the oil, separate from the rest of the plant parts, you can combine it with new ingredients. You can only work on a specific aspect once you severed it from the other two and as what binds all three together is spirit — life — the only way to do it for a human soul — is death.
But really, how?
Well, here comes the second thing we know about making Horcruxs — that dear Herpo was Ancient Greek.
In Ancient Greece they had multiple different religious cults, some of which were Chthonic cults. Cults that dedicated themselves to death or ditties and heroes associated with death and more importantly — rebirth.
Many of these cults were dedicated to figures like Orpheous, Dyonysus, Persephone, characters in mythology who are known for going through the underworld — through death — and coming back out. These cults were very secretive and not much is known about their practices, but some is.
What is known is that they had rituals were they reenacted a death and then rebirth (usually drinking wine — a water if life, was the representation of rebirth).
This created a very clear idea in my head — to split a soul, you'll have to ritualisticlly, magically kill yourself, severe a peice of your soul and then revive yourself with a water of life — a potion.
This potion is never mentioned, but I believe it exists due to these Chthonic cult rituals and how they were structured. Not only that, but the Greek underworld did have a river known for being incredibly painful to drink, literally made of fire, but being able to bring the dead back - The Phlegethon River.
Note: Lethe River Water (the river in the Greek Underworld that makes the drinker forget) is a canon ingredient in a Forgetfulness Potion.
So what is the dead body for?
Well, congratulations, you killed yourself to retrieve a sliver of your soul and revived yourself so you won't stay dead. You found an item you can keep secure to tie that sliver of soul, too. Now, how would you bind then? After all, the only thing meant to bind a human soul to a body is a human spirit - a human life... you get where I'm going with this.
This is why Tom didn't have to be the one to do the deed. As long as he had a recently deceased corpse to harvest the life from to use to bind his newly split soul and the item of his choice.
It explains why nothing was missing from the bodies. Myrtle and the Riddles were investigated by the Ministry of Magic. One would assume the aurors would've noticed if any corpse was missing a hand due to the killer eating it (as other Horcrux theories suggest).
Not only was nothing missing from the body, the soul was intact. Myrtle became a ghost after death, a ghost is quite literally, just the soul, no body, no spirit.
So the only thing that was taken from Tom's victims was their life, quite literally at that.
Is that all? Can we make a Horcrux now?
Not really. See, when analyzing spells in Harry Potter is their name.
Avada Kadevra - is a reference to an Aramaic healing spell "Abracadabra" pronounced in Aramaic as: "Avra Kadebra" and meaning "I will create as commanded". Merged with the Latin word "cadaver" meaning "corpse" to create -> "I will create dead bodies as commanded"
Or Wingardium Laviosa - is a cross of the English word "wing", the Latin word "arduus" (meaning "high, tall, lofty, steep, proudly elevated"), or "arduum" (meaning "steep place, the steep" and the Latin word "levo" (meaning to "raise, lift up"). So together the spell means -> "lift high up".
So, it's pretty clear spells, their names and incantations are very self-explanatory. So a Horcrux should be no different.
I've seen some attempts at translating the name Horcrux. Unfortunately, these attempts treated the name as Latin, modern Greek, or Old English. Herpo, was Ancient Greek, though, so I went and translated a few possible meanings from Ancient Greek (Classical Greek and Homeric Greek are what I looked at):
ὅρκος (orkus, pronounced "hor-kus") - an oath, the object by which one swears, bound by oath (still used in modern Greek).
κρόκες (crukes, pronounced "cru-kes") - saffron-colored (blood red in Greek), crocus flower. The crocus flower symbolizes both death (the saffron that is the spice) and rebirth (the golden crocus which brings renewal and joy) because Demeter wears them when Persephone returns from the underworld in myth.
So what we have is a spell called "binding oath of death and rebirth" which all around sounds fitting.
There might also be a "made in blood" tucked at the end due to the association of κρόκες with the color of blood.
But what does it matter?
Well, somewhat. As now with this name, I expect the binding between the spirit from the victim, the split soul, and the item would be done in a sort of oath - an orkus.
The association with blood gives us another hint. Blood is the part of the human body most representative of life. Therefore, in Alchemy, your blood is your spirit. So it'll make sense that your own blood would be used in the binding process or more correctly in the process of turning another person's spirit into your own. Making the thread to bind the body (item) and the soul piece your own. As it also refers to just a red firey color, it can indicate the Phlagatton potion I hypothesize should be part of the ritual due to how Chthonic rituals usually went, as the Phlagaton river is made of fire.
So we have a general idea on how to make a Horcrux. You need an item of your choice to bind your soul to. You need a life (spirit) harvested from a human that you transformed into being your own using your blood. And you need a piece of your own soul, which you get by killing yourself and then reviving yourself. And you finish it off by binding it all together with an oath.
But how could you make one accidentally?
So, everyone knows Voldemort succeeded in somehow making a Horcrux accidentally, something a lot of theories I saw don't account for. Becouse whatever process you need to go to to make a Horcrux, Voldemort went through all of it the night he died the first time and marked Harry.
All the steps for my method of making a Horcrux were met that night.
The item in qustion is baby Harry, nothing interesting there.
The soul sliver was split the way it always is — through death. Voldemort dies, killed by his own killing curse and that is what splits his soul.
The life or spirit that then binds his soul to Harry isn't Lily's spirit or James'; it's his own spirit that acts as a binder between Harry and Voldemort’s split soul. Because the spirit was already his, there was no need to transform it by blood.
Step-by-step guide to making Horcruxes:
I'm not going to actually give the full step-by-step least a budging dark lord is looking for this information. I do have notes about exact incantations and even the full recipe and instructions for the Phlagaton potion I'm going to mention. These instructions won't be here since they are more in the realm of speculation and headcanon. This is just the overview of the ritual based on canon information and the occult philosophy I mentioned above.
Step 1 - Life and Blood
Get access to a recently deceased human and extract their Mercury (Spirit or Life Essence).
Submerge the retrieved life essence with your own blood on a new moon (life and vitality). (7 drops of blood will probably do)
Step 2 - Water of Fire
To complete the cycle of death and rebirth you’ll need the Phlegeton Water potion to return you to life at the end of the cycle.
As you brew the potion, it must be brewed in a dark room, preferably underground to remind as much of the underworld as possible.
While brewing the potion one must be in the mindset of the Phlegeton, must be willing to go through agony to achieve eternal life and imbue these thoughts in their potion. (In alchemy, when working, it is believed you imbue your work with your thoughts during the Alchemical process. As an Alchemical process affects both the material being worked and the Alchemist themselves)
Likley Ingrediants:
Saffron spice
Golden crocus flower juice
Pomegranate juice
Step 3 - The Ritual Preparation
Set up your space so none of the components may escape the ritual space and so the ritual will not be interfered with.
Make sure the spirit you retrieved is within reach.
Make sure the item you desire will hold the Horcrux will be within reach as well.
Coax the spirit into the item and prepare it to tie your soul to the next step.
Step 4 - Death and Rebirth
To create a thread of your soul to tie to the ritual, you must die figuratively. Go through death to return stronger from the underworld.
Once you feel like death has reached you and your soul is separated you should heal your soul and finish the cycle, bringing you out of death and back to life by drinking the Phlegeton potion.
After the pain subsides you will feel healthier than before, stronger than before, and you’ll have an additional thread of sulfur (soul) in your chest to be pulled out and placed into the Horcrux.
The split-off soul should, on its own, try to search for life and a body to be bound to. If it doesn't, coax it out yourself and bind it to the Horcrux with the spirit you made in step 1.
Step 5 - Oath of Life
The connection between the body (the item), soul, and spirit is still unstable, if most likely strong enough to hold.
Swear the oath of life to finalise the bound between you, the Horcrux, and the soul thread together to ward off death.
I'll end with this note I made regarding Horcruxes when I started working on this theory:
I don't know what all goes into the process of making a Horcrux but I don't believe a person who truly likes themselves and doesn't want to inflict pain on themselves could make a Horcrux. Tearing up your soul is an act of arrogance above nature, sure, thinking you deserve to change the laws of the world and be the exception is part of it, but it's also an act of self-hatred. You need to hate yourself enough to be willing to kill yourself, hurt yourself, and tear yourself up in the most unnatural ways — hence why so few can do so, let alone more than once.
And Tom Riddle does seem to have that exact mix of arrogance, spite, and low self-esteem that would allow it.
Okay, so @twinsoulsentwined requested the full detailed process on how to make a Horcrux very nicely, so I'll add it here. This is less of a theory and more in the realm of headcanon and speculation on my part, and mostly for fic purposes but the full instructions from my notes are under the cut:
Note: I don't speak Ancient Greek and I'm not fluent in reading Ancient Greek. This is my attempt with an Ancient Greek Dictionary, so the grammar and translations might be off.
Step 1 - Life and Blood
Get access to a recently deceased human and extract their Mercury (spirit).
To do so, use the spell: “διεμμένω” - “diemmino”, to stop the spirit from slipping away.
Use the spell: “ὀχυρότης παστή αἰών φλόξ” - “ocherio pasti aion phlox” to strengthen a container to allow it to hold pure divine fire.
Then take a jar and use the spell: “ἀκράτεια αἰών φλόξ” - “akrateia aiona phloxia”, call the spirit to you and seal the jar. The spell should give the spirit a red, golden glow like a living fire.
Submerge the retrieved spirit with your own blood on a new moon (life and vitality).
Take the container with the living fire of life and add 7 drops of your blood to it.
place the container down in a bowl of water and place a charm (metal emulate, preferably silver) with the following phrase: “αἰών φλόξ καί αἷμα ὁμοφροσύνη” - “aion phlox kai aima omophrosune” - life fire and blood in unity of body and mind
Leave the container and charm on the night of a new moon for seven hours and it shall be ready.
List of Ingredients (~140g):
Dittany leaves (5g)
Dittany leaf juice (12g)
Dragon Blood (7g)
Dragon Liver (x1)
Rue (5g)
Valerian Root (x1)
Valerian flower petals (5g)
Mint leaves (7g)
Mint juice (12g)
Lavender root (x1)
Saffron spice (7g)
Hyacinth flower juice (12g)
Golden crocus flower juice (12g)
Pomegranate Juice (7g)
Pomegranate oil (7g)
Ashwinder eggs (x3)
Ashwinder venom (7g)
Ashwinder fangs (x21)
The Brewing Process:
Mix the Hyacinth Juice, Golden Crocus Juice, and Pomegranate Juice in a separate bowl.
Place in the bowl a golden thread that will be the Moriai Thread later in the ritual.
let the bowl set for 7 hours under the sun and then remove the Moriai Thread.
Fill a caldron (iron, size 2 -283g) with 140g of water over a low fire.
Crush Dittany Leaves, Rue, and Valerian Petals with a mortar and pestle to a fine powder.
Once the water reaches boiling temperature, add the plant leaves powder to the water along with 3g of the Dragon Blood
Mix 3 times clockwise.
Crush Mint Leaves and Saffron Spice with a mortar and pestle to a fine powder.
Add the powder along with 4g of the Dragon Blood into the caldron.
Mix 3 times clockwise.
Let simmer for 3 hours.
Burn Ashwinder fangs, Lavender Root, and Dragon Liver separately to receive 3 fine light grey powders.
Mix the powders into the brew after shimmering time is over in the order of ingredients mentioned above.
Mix 1 time counterclockwise after every powder addition.
Add the Mint Juice and the Dittany Juice.
Mix 1 time clockwise.
Let simmer for 3 hours.
Crack open the Ashwinder Egg and add the liquid inside to the mix.
Mix 1 time counterclockwise.
Add the Hyacinth Juice, Golden Crocus Juice, and Pomegranate Juice prepared earlier.
Mix 3 times clockwise.
Burn the Ashwinder Eggshells to retrieve a hot white, golden powder.
Mix the received powder with the Pomegranate Oil in a separate bowl to a fine mixture.
Add the bowl to the mix.
Mix 7 times counterclockwise.
Let simmer for 7 hours.
Add the Ashwinder Venom to the potion.
Mix 7 times counterclockwise
Step 3 - The Ritual Preparation
Set up a circle so none of the components may escape the ritual space and so the ritual will not be interfered with.
The circle shall have six letters written: Γ (foundation, soul) - Δ (threshold, change) - Θ (recovery) - Α (life) - Ξ (unity, binding) - Θ (time) in this order.
The circle and letters should be drawn in your blood.
The rest of the stages should take place within the circle. Make sure the Life Essence container is within the circle.
Make sure the item you desire will hold the Horcrux will be in the circle with you as well.
Use the same spell (”akrateia aiona phloxia”) to coax the life source out of its container and into the Horcrux.
Step 4 - Death and Rebirth
To create a thread of your soul to tie to the ritual you must die figuratively. Go through death to return stronger from the underworld.
To create this death, one must open their wrists on both arms and angle them upwards, holding a Moriai Thread (prepared earlier) in their hands that will act as their life thread.
Write the letter Σ (splitting, end) in blood on both your wrists.
Eimi puripais kai teriades
Ekdisao kai thnesko
apotemno penoeides
Epilesis Suchorageo zaphleges
5. And cut the thread of life. It will hurt as you feel fire cut through your soul to separate the sulfur from itself.
6. Once you feel like death has reached you and your soul is separated you should heal your soul and finish the cycle, bringing you out of death and back to life. Cast the spell:
Paradidomi daleros diudatizo phlegethon roe
Suchossoos kai anapophero apek katagaidioi
7. And drink the Phlegethon Water immediately afterwards.
8. After the pain subsides you will feel healthier than before, stronger than before and you’ll have an additional thread of sulfur in your chest to be pulled out and placed into the Horcrux.
9. Use the spell: “ἀγινέω θυμόμαντις” - ”aginio thumantis” to lead the soul thread into the same Horcrux quickly.
10. Most times the spell isn’t necessary because the separated soul thread should bind itself to the closest, brightest Life Essence of its own.
11. The Life Essence should be powerful enough to, on its own, create a rudimentary connection between the soul thread and the Horcrux. But this connection may be unstable and unpredictable, so be warned of leaving it as such.
Step 5 - Oath of Life
Swear the oath of life to finalise the bound between you, the horcrux and the soul thread together to ward of death.
Emautou hexorkou diamekune lipopnoe prokalizomai moros,
Diomnumi efesos kai lissanios aima kai ieron,
horkos kataproixomai aleximoros as aperotos,
Eipote aganos, epimueiromai thumophoneo kai loigos,
Diomnumi
The spell: “ἄλκαρ ὅρκος συντελέθω θυμόμαντις” - “alkario horcus sutlethio thumavis” is to be then cast on the new Horcrux to protect and safeguard it. The spell will only work on an item with a soul bound to it by oath. The incantation is too be accompanied by painting Ρ (resistance), Θ (recovery), Ξ (unity) in your blood on the item.
“ΡΘΞ” (”rox”) means breach, or breaking and would stop it from happening to the Horcrux.
