thoughts on the needy girl anime cuz i finally got around to watching the first episode even though i didnt rly wanna watch it

heres what i sent to my friend plus more thoughts cuz i felt bad flooding his texts 😭😭

when i was getting my nails done i watched the first episode of the kangel anime and like it wasnt terrible it was actually interesting and i liked it and i ended up kinda enjoying how chaotic it was (i was right btw the original characters are bitches trying to ruin her standing) but i was naive and didnt check any warnings first however ...

theres a rape scene with 1 of the girls who works as a hostess on the side and i wasn't like overwhelmed by it like a genuine trigger bcs i was also being Stimulated by getting my nails done and also being in public but now that im like thinking back on it im honestly like, the actual fucking game didn't even have that in there, why did they go all the way there in ep 1? <_> the most graphic the actual game gets is like . drug abuse and self harm and psychosis I GUESS one could argue that doing the ♡♡♡ option after a drug event could constitute as that but even then the scene was graphic but not explicit in the way that . the way it was directed, if you have ever been that situation, the angles, the places the victims eyes are going, it was triggering af

i think for an anime for nso i dont necessarily think its a terrible thing to discuss topics like SA happening on the job esp in a profession where its rampant and its not so surprising, i would expect an adaption for the game with the content in it also have heavier topics in the anime. im just like girl i was not expecting all that in the first episode, some context clues would have been enough, like it was obvious where it was going <_<

Anyways im sure ill watch another episode sometime or when the blu rays come out and I shall consult the interwebs for content warnings. I feel like such a nerd when I say that but I do rly like watching anime better when its available
