posts like this are so disingenuous and I'm sick of these same damn opinions from men's sports blogs being recycled every couple of months and everyone acting like it's a genius take. on a website that's constantly encouraging people to get into [insert whichever men's sport here] because it's gay, (meanwhile in reality they have zero out gay athletes at the top of the sport) I think you guys can handle women on this website occasionally pointing out that this is disingenuous and if you really wanted to get into a sport because some of the top athletes are openly gay, then women's sports are right there.

how many times do I have to see posts on this website saying people should get into F1 or men's tennis because "it's gay", even though it's clearly heterosexual man central, while you guys bemoan women on this website for being willing to point out the hypocrisy? lol. like, you guys can't constantly be making posts about how lesbian heated rivalry wouldn't work because lesbophobia isn't real homophobia or claiming there's no lesbophobia in women's sports while also simultaneously making your little text posts like, "mutuals, please get into [men's sports with no top out gay athletes], it's soooo gay, you'll love it!" and then also making these posts mocking fans of women's sports who say, "yeah, actually, that particular men's sport isn't very gay at all, however there's women who also play that sport and some of them ARE actually gay in real life while also being capable of being good athletes." it's literally not the only selling point. we're countering the damn selling point you guys try to use for men's sports which are objectively really not fucking gay.

but then I guess if any of you were honest about the way women's sports fans actually talk, you wouldn't be able to make posts like this for a few notes on tumblr.com.
