I think Athos is my favorite character in Wilds by simple virtue that her presence has practically zero weight in the narrative. Yeah, she's Olivia's Palico and so is everywhere she is, but she doesn't really participate much outside of physical labor or combat, especially compared to your own Palico. As a consequence, her narrative identity is just "That one fucking cat who stands around being a cat" and it's FANTASTIC. Especially with the fact that she's dressed like a barbarian and has sick ass eye scars.

Her character begins and ends here and I'm not even complaining. Hell yeah, Athos.
