HL planes 2! old guy edition

eli - full mech electronic warfare plane. he looks rougher because i imagine he works too much to take care of his paint like that. his antennae are based off of the prowler’s refuel probe but i imagine these are like a radio antenna. also little thing: on his shoulder he has a little lambda painted. its like a less permanent tattoo and i think a lot of the mech or half mech resistance members have it painted somewhere as well. colors based off of green monochrome computer displays.

kleiner - supersonic research bomber. originally he was going to be a concorde because i thought that fit him but i also wanted him to be electronic warfare or experimental, and the XB-70 looks very similar to the concorde so why not? based his colors off the shell of old computers.

Mossman - long distance spy plane. everything about her design is based off her deception- she betrayed both powers at one point and i wanted to show that by having her whole design be based off of it. firstly the U-2’s designation is U for utility, which was used to hide the true use for the plane, that being recon. secondly, her pattern is based off a tiger’s stripes which is supposed to mimic the dapples of light coming through trees. i didnt want her to just look straight up like a tiger though so i inverted it that way she looks more like the plane itself.

Gman - An older turboprop civil plane that i thought looked classy. i wanted Gman to be a smaller business plane but i dont feel like he would be a jet plane. There is also a variant of the metroliner, the C-26, which is used for military cargo use. I think Gman hauling “cargo” for higher-ups is fitting. (also the Gman drawing itself is pretty old but i didnt want to redo it so..,,,)

if i did them, Russell would have been an EA-18G, Magnusson would have been a large cargoplane of some kind or maybe an E-3, and breen would have been similar to Gman but he would be the actual military cargo plane instead of the civil variant.
