Okay so it’s been FAR too long since I’ve posted but I’ve been busy with Uni work! So... TOY STORY 4

I know it’s been out for a while but I completely forgot to make a post about it. I made one before, giving my opinion on how Toy Story 4 looked from the trailer, because although the team(s) at PIXAR have my full support I was a little apprehensive, mostly because of how PERFECT the ending to Toy Story 3 was but I have to say that in my opinion, the ending to Toy Story 4 was BETTER!

Woody needed a proper ending, a real goodbye and I love the way that PIXAR managed to do it! I love that Bo Peep came back because I hated the fact that she disappeared and we never saw her again and although she was mentioned we never knew exactly what happened to her so I’m really glad that those questions were answered for us.

I’ve seen a lot of comments about the movie saying that there were parts of the movie that shouldn't have been in it because it was too creepy for kids but I took my 2 and 1/2-year-old niece to watch it and she absolutely loved it, there was no fear at all, so I have to say that I do not agree with that at all.

I absolutely loved this one and although there had been talk that people suspect PIXAR may be planning a 5th I do not think that is true. I don’t see how they could but then again, I said that about Toy Story 3 so what do I know?

The production of the The Lion King (1994) was regarded as a B-film to keep the animators that weren’t working on Pocahontas (1995) occupied. 

Disney put their best animators on Pocahontas (1995), but in the end, its box office performance which brought in about $346.1 million, didn’t even come close to that of The Lion King (1994), which made about $968.5 million.

The Sword in the Stone (1963) is the only animated Disney movie from the 1960′s not to have a Platinum DVD, a sequel, a TV show, or a live-action remake.

Although, with the way things are going, there could be a live-action remake coming very soon.

The popularity of The Rescuers (1977) almost led to a spin-off TV series in 1989, however when the animation department green-lit its sequel, The Rescuers Down Under (1990), the project was scrapped.

The series was still made, but Bernard and Miss Bianca were replaced with Chip ‘n’ Dale, and the series was called Chip ‘n’ Dale Rescue Rangers (1988).

The Rescuers (1977) was the first Walt Disney animated feature to inspire a sequel.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH !!!  THE SCENE WITH THE PRINCESSES IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITES BY FAR !!!

As stated several times throughout the movie, the voice over the intercom at the Marine Life Institute in Finding Dory (2016), is that of Sigourney Weaver. 

This was her second role in a Pixar movie as she also lent her voice, once again for announcements aboard The Axiom, the starship in WALL-E (2008).

Both movies were directed by Andrew Stanton.

Tim Allen has said in many interviews that Pixar originally wanted Jim Carrey to voice Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story (1995), and Paul Newman to voice Woody, but they couldn’t due to the low budget they were given for the film. Those casting choices were meant to represent how new Hollywood was taking over old Hollywood (Newman representing old Hollywood, Carrey representing new Hollywood). Newman would later go on to voice Doc Hudson in Cars (2006) which was his last role before passing away in 2008.

Sid Phillips from Toy Story (1995) is said to be inspired by a former Pixar employee of the same last name who was known to disassemble toys ad use the parts to build bizarre creations.

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen both confessed to crying at Jessie’s flashback sequence in Toy Story 2 (1999), that shows her being rejected and abandoned by her owner, set to When She Loved Me by Sarah McLachlan.

On the opening day of Stitch’s Great Escape, visitors were surprised to find Cinderella’s castle teepeed.
