I am so sorry that at some point in your young and vulnerable life, you were taught that certain bodies made people less deserving of food, of comfort, of human indulgence. it's okay to eat if you don't feel like you've "earned" it.

it's okay to eat whatever you want. food has no inherent morality attached to it. eat a cookie, a salad, some noodles - whatever you want. we're trained to see food as the enemy, but it should be so much more! food keeps us alive, and allows us to do every wonderful thing we do every day. food should be your friend. you don't have to earn any type of food, or any at all. food is a necessity.

it's okay to eat. period.

why do so many people always hate on cesar? people get so mad at him for all the situations he has gotten the crew into. and i just— he’s literally 14/15 in the series. he is a child! his entire childhood, his entire life, was composed of gang life. his entire family is a part of it. and his brother, the person who raised him, is the leader. their home was the main base for the gang. he was never not around it. he was raised into the gang, he was socialized and enculturated to believe that gang life was the norm. that it was his only option. and then throughout the entire series, you have adults who hate him, call him a gangbanger, say he’ll never amount to anything. so he fed into it. i mean, originally, he thought he could just be affiliated, but that obviously wasn’t enough. and then he thought he could be a part of it, but have that just be it. he didn’t think he would actually have to do anything, but because he’s spooky’s brother, it becomes his whole life. it always makes me mad when people say he gets the crew into this huge mess, as if it’s his fault. and also— does the squad not jump in and try to help him every time? they’re his friends, they want to help. they throw themselves just as much into the mess as cesar has been thrown into it. so please stop hating on cesar!!
