It’s the summer of 1986, and Mike’s running a new D&D campaign.
Later that night, after everyone’s gone home and Mike asks Will to sleep in his room, Will dreams of a Paladin from another world, decked in armor and brave enough to touch him.
The next day, Mike finds himself waking in this other world, too, facing a Cleric who acts a lot like Will.
Neither of them know the other harbors the same secret; that they are dreaming of each other.
